Lunch - generous portions although of the four orders in our group, nothing was extraordinary. Prices reasonable. Parking limited at the building so street parking is necessary. Inside seating and a few picnic tables outside. You can walk to it from the pedestrian mall if you are accustomed to walking. The fact that it used to be an Esso station... More

While driving up US81 to Gettysburg last week, Bonnie Blue was an excellent alternative to a 'chain' stop for lunch. A 10 minute detour, but so worth it! A funky, fun place in a converted gas station with a bakery/coffee bar up front & dining area in the back. My brother enjoyed his BBQ smoked meat platter, while my shrimp... More

We were travelling and used Trip Advisor to find a nice restaurant for dinner. Bonnie Blue was a perfect find for dinner. Fantastic Barbeque. We will stop here again!

I am in Winchester with my son on a college tour for Shenandoah Conservatory. While he was shadowing the students I went for lunch. I had seen an advertisement for Bonnie Blue in a publication the college provided. I was far from disappointed. While parking is a challenge, the food and the friendly staff made up for it. The tables... More

This is a place you are either told about by a local, or you come across it because you do your homework and checkout TripAdvisor! Seriously, a hidden treasure........the portions are generous and the food is fantastic. We all had something different: catfish, fried oysters, pulled pork, ribs, and brisket- I'm thinking the only meat we didn't try was the... More

Just had another great steak night at Bonnie Blue! A 16 oz rib-eye, bibb lettuce salad, fresh cut fries that are out of this world, and fresh local green beans. Twenty bucks. Unbelievable! No better steak in Winchester. Great wine, Escutcheon and Natty Boh. Awesome atmosphere and amazing staff. Highly recommend!

We stopped at Bonnie Blue on our way from Ohio to OBX. I got crab cake with fried apples and potato salad. Husband got shrimp and grits. Both dishes were fabulous. Picky kids got lunch elsewhere but tasted our lunches and decided they should have ordered at Bonnie Blue instead. The desserts looked wonderful, but we were too full to... More

Wow...what a great meal! I had the baked potato stuffed with...well everything! It was huge, tasty, and more than I expected. Others in my party had the ribs and roast. All were more than pleased with the quality, flavor, and speed of the meal. The bbq sauce is a nice compliment to the dry rub smoked meat. Tasty toppers like... More

If you are not worried about your waistline or just want to eat some Southern food, stop here. Our party had the pulled BBQ chicken, BBQ pork and fried catfish along with traditional sides such as cornbread, collard greens with ham, mac & cheese. Nice interesting decor. Worth a stop if you are in Winchester.

We found Bonnie Blue's while on a weekend trip to Winchester. The food was great and the service was also very good. I had the shrimp and grits, while my husband ordered the pulled pork platter and both were amazing. The building was a converted old gas station. The place has a lot of charm and there is also outside... More
