The Butcher Station used to be our favorite spot in Winchester, not anymore. Gave it two out of five, only because of how good it used to be. Should have gotten one. Came here for lunch and ate outside. The lady inside was uncomfortably rude to the guy taking our order at the register. She actually stopped him in the... More

Been here a few times for lunch and twice for dinner. Love this place! Farm to table, burgers, steak, wings, fish, all fresh and full of flavor. Great staff that attends to the details and are all happy to please. So, don't tell anyone about this hidden gem!

Been here many times for lunch. This time we went for dinner. Food was fabulous. Loved trying local farm foods. The cheese and honey were amazing. Service was friendly and accommodating. They were out of one of our choices for an appetizer, which they apologized for and offered us another choice on the house. If we lived closer we would... More

Every time we come to have lunch or dinner it is a real treat. The menu has local grass fed meats, local diary cheeses and amazing fresh wild fish. The food always has many options and cook to perfection. The best are the carrots. The owners are a brother and sister and with the staff they make sure everyone is... More

My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times. It's on the southern outskirts of Winchester just above Kernstown on U.S. 11 at the back of the Creekside Village shopping center. It's a little out of the way and a bit on the pricey side for the location, but we'll worth the time and effort. The specialty is... More

The food is really fresh and inventive. I did not expect to have blackened mahimahi over salad as an option for lunch the day after the big snowstorm. The fish was cooked beautifully and I finished every bit of the salad as well. The beer list includes Virginia-brewed selections and will certainly be appreciated by fans of "hoppy" beers. We... Oysters on the half shell, aged steaks, organic cheese plates, scallops, all with matching wine. Sounds like fine dinning. It is! Just not in a fancy schmancy restaurant. Walk in most anytime without reservations. Unpretentious surroundings and furniture make this feel like a typical down the street restaurant. But the excellent food and excellent service let you know you are... More

Small and intimate. This restaraunt is not well appointed. The food makes up for any beauty flaws it may have. We have eaten here several times and each time we have been very pleased with our meals. Our steaks have been cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Staff have been pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.

Great fresh food, with a wonderful flavor and very intimate atmosphere. Loved the steaks, everything is delicious! Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Full disclosure - owner is my neighbor (found out after we ate there) and then catered my daughter's wedding (Also an outstanding job!!)

I really like this little restaurant and its farm-to-table concept. They have a big chalk board that lists the nearby farms they get their produce, meats, etc. from. Some people might not like that the menu constantly changes and you only have in-season options. I personally enjoy knowing that a lot of thought has gone into the meal and supporting... More
