It’s OK, it’s dated, it’s a bit over price for what we ordered. Service is OK. Food was OK. You get what you expect but then again, the restaurant has to be really incompetent to mess up eggs and bacon, burgers, hash brown, Reuben sandwiches....If we didn’t have a coupon or restaurant credit we wouldn’t of gone.More

We visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. Both were served hot and were delicious. Service was good. Recommend

Nice spot recommended by a friend. Our server, Amber, was so sweet, knowledgeable and had the best personality! I had an omelet with the potatoes as well as the corn cakes. All very tasty. I will try the regular pancakes next time. Surprisingly we were...able to snag a table on a Sunday around 10:00 with no wait, but the restaurant was full!More

At 9 am on a Saturday our group of five got seated immediately and the great service began. Our server Mikhaila was quick, sharp, and friendly taking time to answer our first-time visitors' questions. Drinks came quickly and food orders were taken. Ten minutes later...the food was brought out by Mikhaila and helper so everyone was served at the same time. Tasty, hot food and coffee were just what we all needed to start the day. My usual favorite Shrimp and Grits was as delicious as ever. Eggs done perfectly to order. Everyone was happy. We left with full stomachs and two to-go boxes. Again, Mikhaila was a wonderful server!More

Went to HoneyButters with my mom and sister. My food was late coming to the table, and it was cold. The gravy had congealed on the plate. When the waitress asked how everything was, I told her my food was cold, and she looked puzzled....She didn't even offer to warm it up. My mom and sister said their food was good. The fried pickles appetizer was great.More

We stopped in to eat breakfast and wow, was this place a nice change! Really nice place with a great staff and excellent food. Small touches like real sausage links and bakery level toast set this place apart. A lot of our local restaurants could...take some notes from this place for sure.More

If I could give a Negative 100 for compassion, I would – Last week my family was on vacation to Williamsburg. While there my daughter-in-law who is handicap and 6 months pregnant tested positive for COVID. We were staying at a local timeshare property and...as part of a promotion we both received vouchers for a breakfast up to a $60 value. The voucher was for dine in only. My wife and I had breakfast on Friday and inquired with the waiter if my son’s family could use the voucher for take-out since they were isolating. Since the owner was not there, he had to ask the head chef because the voucher was for dine in only. When she came out, I explained the situation and her response shocked us – NO you cannot because the resort will only honor the coupon if you dine in and refused my request!! She was excellent in “Passing the Buck” and not accommodating our request. It looks like they would rather have a person who has tested positive, eat in their restaurant… How inconsiderate!! I will never go there again!!!More

Small quant diner in the outskirts of Williamsburg. Ordered takeout on Sunday. Hearty breakfast options including pecan pancakes and breakfast sandwiches included plenty condiments.

Very clean restaurant with an extremely friendly staff and we experienced fast service. My wife got the French toast and I got the cowboy omlette, we both were pleased and enjoyed our selections. Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch if you are in...the Williamsburg area.More

Went here for breakfast using a Vacation Village Resort voucher, supposedly good for $30 worth of food. Upon arrival, was told that the voucher could only be applied to a very limited menu of four dishes, and only one drink per person. The served food...was okay but nothing special. So if you plan to use one of these vouchers - beware. And to top it off, the coffee was not very good.More

Went to this resturant with 30 dollar voucher from the resort we were staying at. After we checked the menu on the internet and seeing some nice plates we went. But after arriving the waitress would not set us unless we told her we had...a voucher. Two stacks of menus were on the waitress desk, one for regular customers and the other for vouchers, After seeing the item that we desired, We were told her that the the item we wanted was not on the vouchers menu. We stated that we would pay the difference but still the answer was no. There is only one reason that they have two seperate menus. Someone at the resort is getting a kick back or the resturant is serving lower quailty plates for the vouchers. Use your own judgement in going to this resturant but something is wrong there.More

We are visiting Williamsburg VA for a couple of days and staying in Colonial Williamsburg. At the recommendation of a good friend that lives here, we tried Honey Butters. The atmosphere was nice , clean and cheery. However it was one of the worst lunch...experiences I have had. I ordered the broccoli/cheese soup that pretty good. However, I ordered the mushroom burger with avocado and tomato, medium rare. My burger came out at it was BURNT!!! I informed the waitress of the temperature of the burger and she agreed it was well done. She ordered another medium rare burger and it came out BURNT again. I ate half but couldn't stomach the burnet taste . The server was very nice and apologetic but did not offer to take it off my bill. VERY DISSAPOINTING!More

Honey Butter's breakfasts are very good, and their service is fine. But, as of this date, patrons of restaurants are still required to wear masks when entering or leaving an eating establishment, and when walking around inside. While we were there this morning (for about...40 minutes total), we saw 4 people entering, leaving, and walking to and from the restroom not wearing masks. Obviously, the law is not being enforced and people know that, or there wouldn't have been that many people flouting it. As much as we like their food, we won't be returning, at least until we are told we no longer have to wear masks in restaurants.More

We had lunch at Honey Butter's and enjoyed it immensely. Our slice of corn bread looked like a piece of thick french toast and it was delicious, moist and we slathered it with wonderful honey butter. We had several tasty sides with the mac n...cheese being my favorite and it was a huge portion for $3. The ambience of this place is average but we didn't expect a fancy restaurant; we just wanted good food that didn't break our wallet. Next door in the same building is hand dipped ice cream with numerous choices and a small gift shop. We all enjoyed our meal and our service from Amber and manager Amber was great.More
