Casual place very good steaks. Prime, Filet and all the sides. Nice place to take a date if you want to impress. nd a good place to just come eat and relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

The Opus 9 Steakhouse in Williamsburg seems to be holding steady during these very trying times. And one bite of their New York Strip, Au Poivre will show you why. Mine was perfectly prepared from quality beef. The entire evening was enjoyable and the service...was exemplary. Definitely a “go to” restaurant.More
A great fine-dining experience, even before arriving at the restaurant! There are not allot of vegan options, other than a salad that is offered on their menu. I called ahead and asked if any such options were available. The young lady who answered the phone...was very polite and busy, so she asked if she could hand the call over to her manager. The manager was just as polite and informed me that they would make a note of when I would be dining there and the chef would fix a special dish. She did not forget and our waiter Sean, had my name and informed me of a most delicious dish that the chef had prepared. It was vegetables of squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, etc. over rice that had been tossed with aromatic herbs and spices, and drizzled with an awesome sauce! Even the seeds had been removed! It was out of this world! I don’t know what the chef calls this dish, but it should definitely be added to their regular menu, since some people may be reluctant to ask when an entrée isn’t listed. We had 12 in our group and there were “no complaints.” It was top notch from the time we were seated until our goodbyes by the staff. Sean kept our glasses filled with water or wine and delivered hot rolls with warm butter every time it was needed. He knew our wishes without even asking! Our meals were served hot and in a timely manner. My compliments to the chef and all the staff. It was our Christmas luncheon and it was made very special for us.More
Beautiful restaurant and friendly service. Steaks were good but lacked flavor. Just added some more salt and pepper and it was delicious. The steaks are pricey but average for a steakhouse.More

Went there wife’s 62nd. Excellent service and selection. Provided us a good booth. Light wine they helped us we imbibe rarely. A must eats.
My daughter and I spent a week in Willimasburg and Opus 9 was recommended as the best place for steaks by several locals. The food was very good, but nothing special for the price. My daughter really enjoyed her filet and mashed potatoes. I ordered...the Oscar 9, which is a filet with asparagus, crab, portabella and bernaise sauce. The amount of toppings was miniscule, but the steak was delicious. The au gratin potatoes were the highlight of my meal. Service was excellent and the setting was lovely.More
We had the seafood and it was extremely good. Great atmosphere and service! Salads and deserts were great too
We visited during COVID-19, masks required when not seated at your table, hand sanitizer station immediately inside the door to the left. We all ordered the 8oz filet minion, which was filling and flavorful. A bit pricey for such a simple steak presented only in...butter, but excellent nonetheless. A surprising contribution to the meal: we really enjoyed the honey whipped butter that came with the bread. The environment was pleasant, we beat the dinner crowds so it wasn’t too busy.More
Phenomenal service and food. We ended our vacation with this steak house, and we were not disappointed.
Our group of 4 were looking for a fine dining experience. We made a reservation and waited about 15 minutes for an open table. Everyone had seafood or steak. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent. Sunday is half-price for...a bottle of wine ... pleasant surprise! We enjoyed our meal and will return when in the area.More
