Good BBQ

This was a nice change from the colonial restaurants. The service and atmosphere was good. I would recommend this restaurant for couples as well as families.

Great service and very decent bbq. The bowl of popcorn given instead of bread was a big hit with our daughter.

The people were nice. We were seated right away (and arrived way before the crowds after the historic area closed.) The food was okay, but we both felt that it was overly salty. Our impression was that the waitress pushed us to order when we arrived even though the place was empty. After NOT ordering alcoholic drinks, she seemed to... More

We have stayed at the Woodlands Inn several times, but never had a meal at Huzzah! After returning from the Grand Illumination Fireworks display, we decided it would be good not to drive anywhere (the roads were crazy with cars) but to eat at Huzzah! It was busy, as expected, and we had to wait, but that was fine. We... More

This place has typical pub grub food, clearly aimed at families staying at the nearby Woodlands Inn. We shared a Barbecue Chicken Pizza; it was not bad at all, but did not have cilantro on it as advertised--it would have enhanced the flavor. Full bar. We arrived and got the impression that they were full with parties with reservations, but... More

Dear Guest ~ Thanks for taking the time to write and share your recent dining experience at Huzzah!. I'm not sure what happened with the missing cilantro and would totally agree that it greatly enhances the overall flavor. Please accept my apology for this oversight. In fairness I will say that I didn't actually eat here. I TRIED to eat here. I left the visitor center and saw the sign with the arrow on a sandwich board on the sidewalk directing me to this place. It was noon and I was hungry so I figured this would be a great place to go. I headed... More

I was expecting more authentic colonial feel, which this place doesn't have at all. But I was surprised at how good the food was. Service was also great. We ate there twice, once dining in, once carryout, because it really is the only place convenient to the Williamsburg Woodlands hotel. The kids loved the free popcorn on the table. We... More

This restaurant is very convenient in its location to the Woodlands and to the Visitor Center. We stopped in here to get a snack at the bar about 5 PM. Of course, it was early in the evening so there were few diners there. We had the bbq chicken nachos and a couple beers. The nachos were fantastic!

After a long day of touring Williamsburg in the pouring rain, we dried off and tried this place for dinner. Food was good though not overly fancy. Service was very friendly and reasonably prompt. Not haute cuisine but a good place for dinner.

I was starving with dinner reservations later in the night, so I wanted a little more than a snack but not a meal. Great place with interesting menu items. I recommend the nachos with pulled pork!
