I try and eat Thai in almost every place I visit... we ordered takeout. My favorite item to get is the Tom Kha Gai coconut soup... this was some of the worst I’ve had... tasted bitter and didn’t have any of the Thai spices it...should have had... no lemongrass, fish sauce etc and if it did, didn’t taste like it. No cilantro... a few onions and some chicken. We also got the steamed dumplings, which could have been frozen...More

Delicious and fast! Try the Pad see ew! It's divine! The chicken satay is another favorite. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy.

I ate here because it was near my hotel on a business trip. The service was great and so was the food.

Definitely worth tracking down as this location is away from the hustle and bustle of Richmond Road.  We tried this restaurant twice and were very pleased with the experience.  Both times there were quite a few other diners there which speaks to the quality of...the food given the rather out of the way location of the restaurant. The Thai spring rolls ($4.95) are freshly made and wonderful.  I thought the green papaya salad ($7.95) was simple but effective in that the spicy, lime dressing was just perfect for the salad.  I highly recommend either the chicken with cashew or the chicken with basil.  Both dishes were done well with fresh ingredients and a nice sauce that included "heat" as well as flavorful spicing.  They also can provide you with a condiment tray with an exquisite Thai pepper and fish sauce combination that I fell in love with.  The total bill for dinner for my wife and me was $40.85, and we were stuffed.  Please leave room for the mango and sticky rice dessert.  One of the best we have ever had. This is a family run business with authentic Thai cuisine.  Unlike the Thai restaurant along Richmond Road where we have waited over an hour for food, this restaurant had outstanding service.  Both times we ate here we were served by one of the owners of the establishment.  They were warm, friendly, and accommodating.  The food arrived in a timely manner and it was hot out of the kitchen. My only complaint was that I would have liked more beer choices.  That is a minor issue considering that I miss the place already, and we cannot wait to go back the next time we are in Williamsburg.More

Had the dumplings which were really nice, I had the pad thai which was ok, and my husband had a beef dish which he said was nice. Reasonably priced.

Visited while in town on business. Found it on trip advisor and it was really close to my hotel. Not the flavor I was use to from a Thai restaurant. I ordered the spring rolls, which was very good; my entrée was the shrimp and...noodles. The shrimp and noodles were bland, would have liked a little spice to go with it. Be careful this dish comes with crushed peanuts on the side. Place was clean but really dated. I would recommend if you are in the area and just want a subpar Thai fix.More

Great Thai cooking, simple Thai fare, small portions, a bit pricey for what you get, but fresh, fresh, fresh -- freshly cooked.

We got pad thai which was fresh and good and also the crab fried rice which had a TON of crabmeat and was delicious. The food was a 5 but the atmosphere was kind of odd. It's got a high domed ceiling as though you're...eating in a mausolem or national monument. But just look at the food. Worth it.More

I had dinner here late Friday night, and was very pleased. I had the steamed dumplings and the duck with basil. The dish wasn't particularly hot, but very flavorful, and I very much enjoyed the meal.

I almost always love Thai, particularly Pad Thai. My wife and I ate here two days in a row, and both got the Pad Thai both days. It was slightly sweet, slightly spicy and very good. At $11, its about the average price, but was...better than average. Our tablemates got the Emerald seafood, and amazing presentation. It was served by switching the bowl of seafood to an extremely hot platter, which boiled the sauce, creating mountiains of steam. At $16, our frends loved it. We will got back to Emerald next time we visit Williamsburg.More

I am sorry, but I do not know. I was visiting Williamsburg for a W&M graduation.
