We have been visiting family in Williamsburg for many years and watched restaurants come and go. The Blue Talon rates #1 in our book and is our go-to bistro on the first night of every visit. The food and atmosphere, both with classic French flair and a cosmopolitan vibe, are simply wonderful although it can and does get noisy since... More

The food was good, but the service was better. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable. He was on the ball! We enjoyed it, but honestly, the Fat Canary was so much better! I think this would be a good place to come for lunch!

Ate dinner at the Blue Talon Bistro this evening. Found the food to be a bit pricey, but to be of good quality and enjoyable. The meatloaf was tasty, though I personally prefer a bit more in the meat itself. The cobb salad was good, with delicious dressing that was subtle, not overpowering, and enhanced the salad nicely. As one... More

If you are looking for a break from the touristy Colonial fare, this is your place! With a lovely French inspired decor, friendly and solicitous service and downright tasty food, you can't go wrong. The chicken crepes were my favorite! Yum!

This was our first visit it Blue Talon, but will not be our last. We enjoyed our late lunch. The side of Mac and cheese was as good as they said. Definitely on our revisit list.

And that's exactly what we want to hear! We don't care if you come in during breakfast and just nurse a cup of coffee and read the paper. We want you to feel at home here, any time, day or night. Thanks Paul! More

Nice quiet break from the heat. Sit in the back room the air is cranked. Mac and cheese is yummy. Grilled chicken is different but still yummy.

Stopped in on the recommendation of a Tourist from New Zealand! Glad we decided to stop in, I had the soup and half sandwich which was fabulous. My wife and daughter had the Mac n Cheese with Ham, and our friend had pasta. All of us enjoyed the food, asparagus in the pasta was fresh and crisp, the Mac n... More

This is a good restaurant right at the end of historic Williamsburg so you can explore and the end up here on foot. We had dinner. It is a large restaurant but relaxed and friendly. Our server was very nice and smiled. The food was quite good and locally sourced. We enjoyed this place and would definitely go back. It's... More

We are glad you found us - as you mentioned, we are a block off the beaten path, so only the bold at heart will discover us (unless they look online or ask someone local!). It sounds like you had exactly the experience we had in mind and we couldn't be happier. Please come back and visit our lovely town... More

Thanks for the feedback - we think the bathrooms are lovely too, and why shouldn't they be, right? Mac & Cheese and Creme Brulee have been staples since we opened, so we're not going to argue with you there either! Thanks again! More

We stopped here for a light lunch, and the food ranged from good to very good. Among the four of us, I had the three-cheese appetizer plate and my wife had the goat cheese tart plate appetizer. My son had the Mac-n-Cheese dish and our daughter-in-law had a Chopped Salad. The Mac-n-Cheese was excellent and we highly recommend it.
