A nice restaurant with average prices in the mid 20s, offering a blend of European and American cuisine in a nice setting. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. We shared lamb shanks, cooked in plenty of wine, with mash potatoes (served only...More

I’ve been here before—on every visit I’ve made to Williamsburg over the last decade. The food and service are incredible. I made a dinner of2 starters—rich on rich. “Faux” Gras mousse and Cassoulet Loiseau. I highly recommend it.

Blue Talon reminds me of dining in a French bistro but you are in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg! Be sure to make a reservation. Always crowded. The Mac and cheese is to die for!

Quaint and Delicious comfort foods! Loved the mini cast iron crocks and wonderful desserts! Tables are a bit close so definitely not where you want to go have a romantic or private discussion.

Everything was excellent from the food to the service. Menu has a French "bent" to it, all of which was made with fresh ingredients, tasty flavorings, and great presentation. Definitely try a dessert to finish your experience at this first class restaurant!!

I have never made reservations, and have been very lucky with either a short wait or no waiting time. During busy times, it might be good to make reservations. It is very popular, and worth the wait if needed. Ever meal... More
