We were in France last year and became addicted to cheese. We search out cheese wherever we go these days. This cheese shop has the best assortment we've found. Didn't eat there. Just bought cheese and left.....very happily I might add.

You can find anything to eat here. Great sandwiches, sides, and drinks. Oh the cheese selection is also good.

Visited three times during my vacation. Yummy sandwiches snd cheeses. I made sure not to go during lunch hr and was in and out promptly. Will return on my next visit to Williamsburg.

Place was cramped, wine was cheap, cheese was great. Next time I will just purchase and leave. The girl serving us had that "I hate tourists" attitude. There's no place for that in Colonial Williamsburg. Everywhere else people were so nice; I don't know what her problem was.

Knowledgable wine and beer people -- and a wine shop in the basement. A great variety of good eats, including excellent gluten free options, with waitstaff that ask about allergies and assure diners about what they are getting. Who could ask for more? Nice outdoor space as well as indoor eating, and a stone throw from the preserved part of... More

We visited this shop during lunch hour and it is chaotic and crowded. That said, the wait time was reasonable. Sandwich was good, but nothing particularly special. I can see the appeal based on location and I would return to explore more menu items. Avoid lunch time or you will barely be able to walk through the place.

They have a large selection of cheeses, olives, teas, honey and of course, wine. Plenty of surprise items, too. Vermont maple syrup selection is one of them. They also make sandwiches on freshly made bread.

We ordered the 3 cheese sampler....$17.95. 2 slices of each cheese, cut in half, and couple tablespoons of dried fruit. Yes, the cheese was good, but they only sliced and sold it. Lots of stuff for foodies...just overpriced. Can purchase some things next door at candy shop for quite a bit less. Disappointing.

Good sandwiches and busy place. Went there towards the end of the lunch period (about 2 pm) the place was still very busy, Large selection of sandwiches which are a decent size. Items taste fresh.

I love cheese, but I'm not a cheese connoisseur. I don't know all the different names and often I don't even know how to serve some of the less common cheeses. That's what made me love this shop even more...They took the time to help me and to let me know how to best serve cheeses that I were new... More
