Friendly staff greeted and seated us quickly. Food was a little slow coming out but was tasty. Our group ordered breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwich, and chorizo con huevos. Loved the traditional American breakfast with an el Salvadorian twist!

Delicious breakfast and awesome service. The staff welcomed us and kept the coffee flowing. Will surely return when back in town. We didn’t order anything fancy so my expectations were not too high.

I visited Old Mill for years, until the service and food declined. However, I noticed this trip it was under new management and name. I was pleasantly surprised. They sat me immediately and I had a very nice waitress, who wanted to make sure everything...met my expectations. I had 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 strips of bacon. I have to say...the pancakes were excellent! Light, fluffy, and had a wonderful sweet flavor. The other thing I noticed was an entire section of the menu was dedicated to a mexican-flare, which is great! Not my personal favorite--I'm an eggs, bacon and of course pancake kind of person. But, the menu does provide a little something for everyone.More

Over the last few days, Old Mill House of Pancakes has changed its name and so much more. It is now called "Sandy's". Over the last couple of months, I dined there 3 times and found the food and the service to be outstanding. The...biggest thing that drew me back was the large number of Mexican influenced items on their menu. I found out on my first trip that the same people who run Old Mill/Sandy's also run a Mexican restaurant across town, South of the Border. It shows: each time I visited I ordered a different Mexican breakfast and each time I was delighted. I also found that the grits were some of the best tasting grits in town. (Unfortunately, as of today, the menu is still listed under Old Mill and does not show any of the 6 to 8 Mexican breakfast items.) So unlike some of the earlier reviewers, I found Old Mill Pancakes to be a great breakfast place. However, it appears that under the new name Sandy's, the owner and staff are going all out to make you experience and your food one that you will remember. Today when my wife and I visited Sandy's, the young man who had served me on my two visits, Elias, greeted us at the door and spoke welcomed me back. Even though someone else waited on us, Elias checked on us 2 or 3 times. We noted right away that even though some of the wait staff appeared to be new summer hires, they all appeared to be well trained, customer oriented, and energized. That, along with the quality of food, is what keeps customers coming back. Today, I ordered a breakfast burrito. I always ask for chorizo, but I could ask for bacon or sausage. They normally mix the meat into the egg filling, but at my request the last two times, they served the chorizo to the side. I like the distinctive taste of chorizo. As in previous visits when I ordered a chimichanga and an enchilada, the outside flour tortilla was light cooked and crispy without a hint of grease. The egg filling was cooked perfectly, neither over done nor runny. The dish came with a small dish of a spicy red sauce. But the outstanding ingredient was the chorizo. With each bite of the egg item or the home fries, I could add some of the chorizo or some of the sauce. That's how it should be. My wife ordered traditional eggs and bacon. She said the bacon was best she had ever had, even at home. She said the eggs and the grits were excellent in that you could taste the unique taste of each. (When she said that I could then remember how at many restaurants, the eggs these days actually don't have any distinctive egg taste.) Our waiter was excellent from start to finish. And when we checked out, Elias visited us again to ask how our experience had been. We will definitely go back soon. Sandy's is really making a name for itself.More

I like over medium eggs done without the crisp edges and these were done spot on. The pancakes were very fluffy and tasty. The sausage patties cooked correctly also. I took away one star only because the coffee lacked boldness but that’s on me probably....Service was great and I would eat here again.More

Food was very good, service not so much. Toast came 10 minutes after eggs. Server did not come back to check if anyone needed anything, i.e. creamer for coffee, toast etc. One order from table of six came much later.

Went with a friend for breakfast. I ordered the eggs benedict and she had an omelette. The food was average, nothing stood out. The service was a little slow but not horrible. As my friend said, "it was OK", but she didn't like the vibe.
