I ordered a vanilla chai latte and a bagel with lox and cream cheese. There was a very long line, and no tables available inside, but there was seating outside. Everything was good, but the chai was lukewarm.

Another one of our favorites along with their sister eatery, The Hound's Tale. Whether it be a sandwich, an entree, or a dessert, Aromas is a great place to visit if you're hungry.
Extremely rude servers refused to give my girlfriend and I cups of water after we had ordered it with our food. Food was very average.
Charming cafe with a few tables out front. short Walking distance from Colonial Williamsburg. Nice choice for casual breakfast (or a coffee break) at a local business.
The food was fine, but the staff refused to give my 80 year old mother a cup of water so she could take her medication, as she cannot take it with coffee. They offered to sell us a water in a plastic bottle, after spending...over $35, indicating company policy per the manager. NOT how we wanted to start our vacation.More
We have enjoyed special coffee drinks (hot and cold) at Aromas for many years. We just visited two weeks ago and it is still wonderful. They have an extensive drink menu and many pub-style food items. It is a William and Mary favorite and an...institution! (like the Cheese Shop) If you go in the fall or winter, I hear they have excellent hot chocolate.More
Went there for lunch while in WB. Salads and sandwiches were good. Bread on sandwiches was not what the description stated, but overall a reasonable value and it tasted good.
Aroma's by all measures isn't a bad coffee shop, just nothing out of this world either. I will say I find that the coffee itself isn't that great, but they have a decent selection of breakfast and lunch options that are all pretty good. What...makes Aroma's so incredibly overrated is the setup absolutely sucks. They have one register which means the line gets long super quickly and starts wrapping around the store. The inside gets really packed and loud which is fine by all means but definitely not a place you can sit down for hours to do work. Also they shout your food out on this loudspeaker which again can get annoying to listen to when you're there doing work or trying to have a conversation. I might sound like I am nitpicking but trust me you do not want to be there during the breakfast rush when there's people standing on top of you when you're trying to enjoy a coffee or sandwhich.More
Wish we had this place in our hometown!!! We are staying next door at the wonderful Fyfe and Drum inn and are having breakfast here right now! It is a very spacious but homey space with lots of people working and reading and enjoying the...food and coffee. We got the huevos rancheros scramble and the crab omelet. Comes with an amazing thick wheat bread. Highly recommend!More
I’ve been coming to Williamsburg every 2 years and this coffee shop is always consistent. I prefer local and avoid the chains so I always plan to get at least one visit here but normally get at least 2. This trip I ordered a breakfast...sandwich and was amazed with the size and quality. I’ve apparently been missing out!More
Yes, May 8, 2022 was Mother's Day and my wife's birthday. So, let's call early and get a custom chocolate cake to be picked up in the middle of colonial Williamsburg. I ordered a 7 layer chocolate cake for $75 and it was worth it....Moist, chocolaty, perfect. With my wife's name on top. In fact, if you are wanting something totally special pick an item and have them write your loved one's name on it. You will not regret it.More
this place is cozy and nice . we had a BLT and it was great . My wife loves coffee and she said it was really good . the service was great
The menu here is limited with the strength being the quality of the food and drink you receive. Seating is a challenge especially during busy hours. What you receive is a value for what you receive. Definitely a must visit when you are in the...Colonial Williamsburg area.More
This place was absolutely delicious with huge portions! The day that we visited, the staff was obviously low staffed and over worked, as they had to turn people away to close the store early. However, the food was amazing! They said they had no water...to drink…which was strange… but the atmosphere was friendly and there was a lot of variety in the food. Not bad pricing for the portions.More
Amazing customer service. Great coffee and breakfast. Big fan of their dark roast Beautiful location. We had to visit it twice on our way to the beach and on our way back north. Such a unique place with a small town vibe. Love the early...morning locals get together. The grits and garden egg scrabble Superb!! A must visit.More
