The Richmond road tourist corridor - Okay, but very pricey for the quality. There are much better quality options

This place is consistently good. The atmosphere is quiet with subdued lighting and the look of an old barn. Steaks are always tender and delicious and the other offerings are good as well. The servers are well trained, experienced, gracious, and anticipate your needs. We always go there when we are in Williamsburg.

As a local I can tell you they has the best steak for the price in Williamsburg. You get a bowl of pub cheese with crackers to start, followed by a huge salad all included in the price. You get an additional side of your choice. Yes, they have baked potatoes. Don't forget the hot rolls. Service...well the waiters have... More

The setting is dark with old wood tables. The cheese spread for the bread is good. The French onion soup is very good. The steak is excellent. The service is attentive.

The food is fantastic and the service is equally great! From the moment you walk in, you are graciously greeted and seated! We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. If you want a perfectly prepared steak (or anything else), come here! All of the servers are awesome but Mr. James is extremely attentive. Reservations recommended.

My sisters and I visited Williamsburg for a fun-filled sisters weekend in January. After a few hours at the outlet mall, we decided on a hearty meal at the Aberdeen Barn. Our cocktails were delicious, the blue cheese dressing on the salad was just like momma makes, the filet and prime rib were outstanding (best ever), the Kentucky Bourbon Pecan... More

While vacationing in Williamsburg we visited Aberdeen Barn. We have in my hometown the world renowned Angus Barn, this was a smaller version of this restaurant. We were able to be seated right away. Our waiter, Harris, talked to us as if we were this only customers, so friendly and yet so professional. The cheese he brought out was great.... More

I am no fan of the eateries in Williamsburg - they tend to cater to the tourist set and are often unfriendly. I did have fond memories of going to the Aberdeen Barn when I was a kid in Charlottesville, and hoped for a similar experience. Nope, although it was as dark and woody as I remember. The service was... More

We chose this restaurant based on the number of cars we saw in the parking lot. We were glad we did! The cheese and crackers were addicting, and the steaks were absolutely amazing! They were perfectly seasoned and done deliciously. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The whole family agrees! Thanks for a great dinner!!

We ordered the clams casino - the clams smelled a bit "off" and we sent them back and did not re-order. We were told about a special on a bottle of wine - the waitress came back and told us they were sold out of it. We ended up ordering 2 glasses of the house red which was adequate. Our... More
