The Aberdeen barn is a delicious relaxed place to eat. We visited for my husband's birthday. The Prime Rib was perfect. We ordered it medium rare and that is how it came. It is delicious beef unadulterated by being overly seasoned, as other restaurants might choose to do. The twin steamed lobster tails were also cooked perfectly. The addition of... More

We were on vacation and had dinner here on our Anniversary. Definitely not as crowded as in the past, but food was delicious. Our waitress was so attentive without being annoying. We all started with Caesar salad that was very good. My brother-in law and I had steak and the mashed potatoes. My husband and sister-in-law had the Ribs. Portions... More

Good food, good service, clean surroundings, and if you are looking for a hamburger, forget it. Serving dinner only, this restaurnat is all about steak and fish. Don't adulterater the food by asking for a bottle of ketchup, referred to as a bottle of sauce by our waiter. Besides, ketchup really isn't good for you anyhow. The King Crab legs... More

The food and service were ok but a bit pricey for what you get. the restaurant is only open from 17:00 hours until 21:30 hours.

Don't let the dated exterior or interior fool you...this was the best steak either of us has had in a very long time.....and if you go there to eat ask for Harris as your server...he was phenomenal! So, the meal starts with bread sticks and a crock of cheddar cheese spread ....delicious. Then we had ceasar salad...yummy...then hubby and I... More

My son wanted ribs and Aberdeen Barn was a good choice for him. His half rack of ribs were baked and covered in a peach sauce. Delicious. The dessert was a pudding and not an authentic creme brûlée..choose the key lime pie, if you are having a dessert.

I have had a better steak for a lower price at any of the chain steakhouses. The service was good but the dining area was very dimly lit, stuck in the 1980's .Would not recommend .

When a place does steak and seafood, they tend to do one or the other better. This place does steak better, but still not fantastic. Prime rib was good but not excellent, fish was overcooked, broccoli was undercooked and had to be sent back. Best thing were the "barn fries", which are french fries with Old Bay seasoning.

I've eaten several times at the Aberdeen Barn near UVA but this location wasn't in the same league. Servers standing around where we could see them, slow delivery of our meal, at best you would say it was eatable but not at all to our expectations. Heck, the bathroom was filthy - shame on the management.
