First off our waiter Kyle was outstanding from start to finish. The small prime rib was large and so well cooked with a large hot potato and the bread was so warm and so fresh.Reservations are recommended with seating as soon as you walked into the dining area.It was not loud at all and the evening was such a joy.I give... When you have a large group you will have a hard time pleasing everyone , but that is what happened. Everyone enjoyed their food, the atmosphere,[ which was warm and friendly ],and the excellent service by Diane Jean and her assistant . I will be telling other group leaders of our great experience at the Aberdeen Barn.

Everyone loves a good steak. Except my boyfriend who preferred the seafood. While we sat the rustic sophistication vibe from this restaurant was obvious. Farm tools, suits, and bow ties. The dim lighting and candles at each table really set the mood for our celebration and Our waiter was spectacular and reminded me of a mellow happy bill Cosby. He... More

If you have fond memories of the Aberdeen, cherish them. Sadly, this is one restaurant that time has passed by, a faded dowager. The staff tried hard, but couldn't makeup for 70s cuisine.

My wife and I went there for dinner since we were in Williamsburg for our anniversary. The restaurant had been recommended at the time share we were staying. Wish we would have gone else where. The decor is old and worn, the waiter we had lacked any personality, nor ever returned to ask if we need any additional drinks. The steak... More

I admit I am not a huge fan of steak dinners but I had been told this was a place to get a good steak. I got a regular T-Bone and it was cooked as ordered but I felt it had no taste. I had to request steak sauce which is not a good sign in a steak house. Sides... More

We were traveling to Williamsburg and wanted a nice meal.Came across Aberdeen Barn and thought it sounded like a good beef place. Roughly 8:00 pm on a Tuesday and place had maybe three to four tables being used. Mike, our server, was very good and attentive. He said the prime rib was what they were known for., so I jumped... The atmosphere is pleasant. The service was not great because the waiter was terrible. My husband liked his steak but my scallops were seasoned awful and came out drowning in butter. I will not return and would not recommend .

This place came highly recommended by our local friends, but it underwhelmed. Food - so so (had the petite filet and a swordfish steak) ... service - so so ... atmosphere - pretty nice. I can't swear there are better options in town, but I'd be surprised if there aren't.
