Our first time there was wonderful! The food was excellent and our server, Dylan, was fantastic -- friendly, personable and professional. Will definitely make this the go-to place whenever we are in Williamsburg. The flat bread pizza -- oh my goodness!

This is a place where if you don’t get there early, you will be waiting. For good reason. Exceptionally tasty, wonderful service, attractive and comfortable dining room seasonal patio and bar. Great value and a large menu as well. Everyone can find something to enjoy....Although not Celiac friendly (which they make very clear) they have a large selection of gluten free items. They do make sure you know the food prep areas and fryers are together. This is important to me to have these options and I applaud them for it. I’d much rather be able to eat things I love without worrying about gluten but it’s not worth being ill for a day. Back to Second Street— I wish I lived closer! It’s an hour+ but worth every mile.More

This is a fine place for dinner and many locals dine here. The food was excellent, but like some other places in the area, the portions are much too large. That may be an effort to show diners that they are getting their money's worth,...but it is also a waste of food for those of us who are traveling and have nowhere to put leftovers. My beet salad was enormous and included two large pieces of chicken - delicious, but more than I could handle and still enjoy a beer and leave room for dessert.More

Very good food with large portions. We started out with the brussel sprouts, and my wife who doesn’t like brussel sprouts, normally, loved them! The rest of the food was good as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better server, either; she was very...gracious and did a wonderful job. Try this place!More

We came here after seeing all the positive reviews. It did not disappoint us at all. The french dip was probably the best that I have ordered. Others in our party got the burgers and were equally pleased. This place did not disappoint and the...menu had plenty of choices for all appetites.More

We showed up with no Reservations, so they took my Number and we waited out in the Car. We were told 40 Minutes. It took 40 minutes. But people we talked to halfway through our wait were told 20 minutes. Just because we're on Vacation,...doesn't mean dining in Steak Houses. We both got Burgers. There were enough things in the Burger to make them VERY MESSY Burgers, but Delicious. I also had a Yuenglings on Tap, and my wife had the Beer that appeared at the top of the List. AleWerks something. Great Dinner for the first night of our trip.More

Second Street does not disappoint and it’s why we keep retuning. On this visit, as I wasn’t too hungry, I had their tomato soup with a salad. It was one of the best tasting soups I’ve ever had. The salad was cold and crisp. My...husband had his favorite of bison meatloaf. I had a taste and agreed it was so good. I love the atmosphere and watching the wait staff was amazing. They didn’t miss a beat. Keep up the great work.More

We went to Second Street Bistro on a Friday evening and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. It was worth the wait! Even though service was poor the food was excellent. I had a burger and the most delicious tomato bisque soup....Unfortunately, I had to wait a long time to get a spoon for my soup, and after asking a couple servers, my husband went to find one himself. They definitely dropped the ball on that.... Nevertheless, I started with my burger, the soup was excellent, and I didn't burn my mouth eating it. I understand that many businesses are having difficulty hiring and keeping help but there is no excuse for not having eating utensils on a set table.More

We had visited this restaurant a few years ago. We had a good experience then and were hoping to repeat that. This experience did not disappoint. The restaurant was busy on this Saturday night and we were told thirty five to forty minutes. We were...seated in about 35 minutes. My wife had the tuna appetizer and I had the split pea soup. I love split pea soup and this was the best I’ve had. For entrees my wife had the flat bread pizza and I had the chicken sandwich. Both were very good. This is a well run restaurant with excellent service. Highly recommend. I only wish they took reservationsMore

Mixed review for 2nd Street Bistro. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork rib eye. He especially liked the accompanying grits cake. I ordered the split pea soup with bacon and the chicken cobbler. The soup was very good. The cobbler had lots of kale in...it. I like kale, but this kale was bitter and gave the whole dish a bitter flavor. In addition, the chicken was tough and the other veggies (carrots, onion, celery and mushrooms) were sparse, very sparse. It was a real disappointment. We sat at the bar and we’re very happy with the service provided by our bartender Brandon - just wish my chicken cobbler had been better.More

Depending on what you have on the burger, the prices range from 15 -19 dollars which seems like a lot but the meal includes a huge portion of fries. It’s a very thick and large burger so it’s worth the price.
