We stopped here for a country breakfast based on Trip Advisor reviews and they were so right. The food and service are excellent.

Service is quick and your tea is refilled as fast as you can drink. Love the Buttermilk Pie! Miss Melinda's Special is my favorite

I'm being generous with 2 stars because the servers are friendly and try hard to please. But the menu is extremely limited, and the food, at least what my husband and I had, was sub-par. Fruit salad was canned peaches and pineapple on a lettuc leaf. Brunswick stew had a few hair thin shreds of chicken and tasted like it... More

Been here many times...still great food, gift shop and service! The 3 of us had a bowl of chicken and dumplings, ham biscuit, and warm pies (chocolate, coconut, buttermilk). Nice portions, good iced tea and the food was southern comfort!) We will be back.

I found the lunch food to be very average. Brunswick stew tasted a lot like some Campbell's soup I've had. If you're vegetarian, don't bother going there. The vegetarian version of the stew is worse than the original and that is really all they have for vegetarians on the menu. Meat meat meat. Heavy food.

We try to eat here every time we go to Williamsburg. The breakfast is amazing. They serve creamed country ham. Enough said.

Drove by it the first day on the way to Jamestown with the kids. The second day, I say their ad in the local coupon book for tourists which urged locals not to forget their ham and biscuits and Brunswick stew for tailgates. Hmm mom. That got my attention! Day three, stopped and got the ham biscuits to go and... More
