Out for dinner with my wife - wanted "good" seafood. Took a chance on Seafare of Williamsburg - a total home run. Very nice atmosphere - fine table, settings, music, lighting, menu, wine list, and server/service. Our food and our service were excellent! My crab stuffed mushrooms were great, as was my stuffed shrimp. My wife's swordfish was very good.... More

Getting past the decor, the baked stuffed shrimp was the best I ever had! Loaded with chunks of crab...not a crumb of bread stuffing in sight. Salmon also nicely done. Kitchen is slow, but sit back with an ample glass of wine as you wait. Nice job Philip.

Our dinner started with a complimentary semi sweet bread and butter. We ordered escargot which came in the shell and were delicious. Our server brought rolls and butter and a palate cleansing orange sherbet which was very good. We ordered the lightly breaded Chesapeake Bay Fried Oysters, Encrusted Flounder, and Red Snapper with baked potatoes. My oysters were delicious. I... More

Seafare of Williamsburg has a nice atmosphere and our waiter James was pleasant. Beause it was our anniversary he brought us a complimentary dessert. Their version of strawberry short cake. The food however was fair at best and unfortunately the cake was dry. But he tried and that wasn't his fault. It is not some place we will return to... More

Our server, Phillip, was fantastic. He answered our questions and asked questions making sure our dining experience would be optimum. The calamari appetizer was perfect. My Red Snapper Supreme was absolutely delicious, with large lumps of crab. The food was beautifully presented. There were little extras, like a sweet corn muffin served with the menu, a sherbet between courses, etc.,... More

The staff, cuisine, and atmosphere were all very impressive! Although we enjoyed the food and beverages, we did feel that it was a little overpriced.Only my husband and I dined, but I would not have taken anyone else there, and quite honestly, due to the expense, we wont go back.

Walked in feeling overwhelmed but was quickly put at ease by the best waiter by the name of James. Food was great, service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone and hopefully James would be your waiter. You would have a meal to remember.

What an amazing decor this place has!!! Definitely the feel of the QE2 cruise ship. Our waiter, James, was a lot of fun and a wonderful server. We started off with perfect Lemmon drop martinis. We shared an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms that were delicious. Three of us opted for a special seafood dish that was baked in a ceramic... More

We visited this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and it was busy with families and couples. The decor was interesting, if over the top, and the staff professional. A mixed seafood platter was nothing special and the scallops undercooked. The fried shrimp were covered in very thick batter which overpowered the fish. All quite underwhelming but pleasant... More
