We were there for Thanksgiving dinner, maybe not the best time for a restaurant review, but the staff was wonderful and the 5 course meal was perfect. Each course was just what you would want - from the soup, entree to dessert. Light, fluffy pumpkin pie was something I will remember for a long time. Again - we didn't order... More

I took my mother and my two daughters to the Seafare last night as the hotel recommended it to us. First it took about 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were only very few guests. Our waitress was extremely rude and arrogant, holding her nose literally way up in the air (my kids were scared of her). We... More

My wife and I had dinner here and were really disappointed. Wait staff was very attentive and the interior, although dated, was bright and clean. Food was adequate, at best. I had the Snapper with crab/hollandaise sauce and the fish was oily and the hollandaise was watery. My wife had the swordfish and it was overcooked. Being the day before... More

Wife and I visited here after not being here for several years. Very much the same with the exception of them no longer having a salad bar which was the best ever. The atmosphere is very nice, linen table cloths and nautical theme. Salmon and scallop entrees were excellent. Complimentary sweet cake appetizer and small serbet dish before the entree... More

Seafarer has changed little over the years. It still serves some of the best seafood available. From the time you are seated, a different bread is served with each course. The menu offers a variety of entrees. The service itself is impeccable. The restaurant itself is a throwback with the interior mimicking a boat. For good seafood it can't be... More

The food at this restaurant is fabulous - the BEST crab cakes ever. Very classy but friendly place. Our waiter, James, was outstanding. We come to this restaurant every time we are in Williamsburg & tell everyone what a great place it is.

The restaurant is ornately decorated in nautical theme. James from Georgia was our server and he was very accommodating. I had the sauton that was tasty but a bit overcooked. It was seafood cooked in wine in ceramic dish. My husband raved about the lump crab cake. The breads were wonderful starting with a rum cake to dinner rolls and... More

My wife and I were visiting the Williamsburg area and as we usually do we relied on Open Table and Trip Advisor in making our dining selections. With The Seafare of Williamsburg we struck gold! The evening started with our host / waiter James! He immediately made us feel welcome and valued. His suggestions were spot on and he was... More

We visit Williamsburg often and decided to go Seafare for dinner. We we're not disappointed at all. I remembered going there as a child and I'm so glad my wife and I went. James our waiter was awesome and the food was terrific. Seafare will be a must stop for us on our future visits to Williamsburg.
