As a 70 year old phart,I have had a ton of burgers in that time. On this trip to Williamsburg, we were finally able to try the brick house tavern. 5 stars doesn’t cover their brick house burger. A big, juicy burger with lettuce, tomato,...hickory smoked bacon and crispy fries. It is really bad to say your favorite burger is about 500 miles from where I live.More

I had the Brickhouse Combination appetizer which was very good and way too much food... so I ate it for another meal later. Nice place outdoors to eat.

Located in historic Williamsburg, near the college. Be sure to find parking in the back of the building, because places to park are very difficult on this street! Atmosphere is welcoming with music in the background that isn't too overpowering, which is always a plus....Four of us had lunch here. Varied entrees to choose from on the menu. All of us got something different and everyone said that their meal was amazing. Mine sure was! I got the veggie sandwich on rye w/fries. The sandwich was nearly 3" tall! Usually veggie sandwiches are bland and soggy. This one was 'perfect!' The veggies were slightly grilled and placed on the melted cheese rye bread! It was THE BEST veggie sandwich that I have ever had! The knowledgeable owner was our waiter and told us great food stories. We enjoyed his banter and his establishment! Prices were affordable! Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning!!More

First off, let me praise this place for being open past midnight in a town where EVERYTHING seems to close up at 8pm. If you're having a busy weekend in this historic area, Brickhouse might just be your best friend. The waitstaff were attentive and...friendly. The pizza was great (yeast-risen crust, fresh ingredients), and boneless wings were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is also great. It definitely has a laid-back local hang out vibe, with a late 20's chilled out crowd. If I did have to offer one complaint though, I didn't love the neighbors. There's a much rowdier college bar next door, which meant dealing with a lot of drunk college kids standing around outside smoking, and in general just putting off bad vibes. Don't get me wrong, and no point did I feel unsafe, but if you're taking the kids, maybe get there before 10pm like I did.More

This was our second time eating here. Covid restrictions were followed and we enjoyed our time at the Brickhouse. They were not very busy and being a college town with few students on campus that was expected. Our server was extremely good and a native...of Williamsburg so he gave us many great tips about things in the area. The food was well prepared and large portions. However, the kitchen was very slow in preparing our meal.More

Family of 5 stopped in for late lunch. Lots of choices and portions were huge. All of us ordered different items and no one was disappointed. Hubby got the brick house platter which he couldn’t finish in 2 different sittings; anchors, wings, Mac n cheese...bites & fried ravioli. I had their Italian sub and it was awesome. I could only eat half of & took the rest to go. Service was great too! Parking available in back.More

Really enjoyed the wings and the supreme pizza was wonderful. Good selection of wing sauces and prices very reasonable. The tap list included a lot of excellent local beer.

Stopped in for dinner because locals go there. Ordered a Brickhouse platter with nachos (chips, cheese, lettuce, black olives, jalapeños), 3 wings, 3 fried Mac-n-cheese triangles, and 3 fried ravioli. Good but need some meat on nachos. Also, ordered a medium pizza with bacon and...ham. It was a good choice. Beers and sodas too. Various TV’s to watch so all had fun. Singles, couples, and families all were enjoying dinner there. We will go back. :)More

I have gone to Brickhouse many times in the past and have had a wonderful time eating delicious food and good service. However, the establishment just adopted a new dress code policy that is very discriminatory. It prevents people from wearing do-rags, baggy clothing, sagging...pants, and jerseys. What kind of sports bar prevents you from wearing jerseys?! It is evident that they are targeting a specific demographic from coming to their bar. I understand that bars have the right to prevent people from eating there if there clothing is offensive or inappropriate, but this is ridiculous. I will no longer be supporting this establishment if they have this type of policy. Shame.More

we came here just to watch NFL games. They have the Sunday ticket and plenty of TVs. Great place to watch multiple games at once. Drinks and food were good- had their wings, antipasto salad and pizza.
