I avoid this place because the cupcakes are the best and I would just become too addicted. It was my birthday and of course, a birthday cake would be just too much so we came here instead. We've had just about every flavor and they're all unbelievable! The best is the Chocolate Peanut Butter by far, but really you can't go wrong.

This is only my second visit to Extraordinary Cupcakes since moving to Williamsburg and for good reason. I would be easily ten pounds heavier if I frequented the shop more often. Today I was ordering cupcakes for an upcoming party so I HAD to come...into the shop. Of course I had to buy a cupcake for myself and my husband for today. I chose the German chocolate cupcake and the raspberry chocolate. Wow, we split each one so we could have a taste of each. German chocolate was full of walnuts and coconut, the chocolate flavor was typical of a good German chocolate cake. The raspberry chocolate was amazing, deep chocolate cake, filled with raspberry jam, the raspberry buttercream frosting was so smooth and creamy. Both cupcakes were nice and moist - we definitely can tell freshly baked that morning. So glad that I'm ordering several for our party. It's a real treat to have a freshly baked cupcake.More

Delicious gluten free and regular cupcakes!! Best Gluten Free cupcake ever, very soft and moist gluten free cupcake with lots of frosting types to choose from. Would come back!

Great find in Williamsburg. My wife ordered the S'mores cupcake, and I had the Brown Betty. Both were phenomenal, and the employee was great. She recommended that my wife heat up her cupcake for approximately 20 seconds to enhance the flavor even more.

I would give this less than 1 star if I could. Positively the driest, oddest consistency cupcake I have had anywhere. I don't even have an idea what kind of flour they had in them but they were beyond horrible. Selection was very limited. The...one I had was so bad I didn't even finish it. The truffles were just as bad. The same consistency as the cupcakes with a chocolate coating. Not worth the calories or the money.More

Anytime I am in the mood for a great tasting gluten-free cupcake I come here. I usually get the gluten-free vanilla with cream cheese frosting. Amazing!

Don't get to frequent very often, however, I have been a customer for years. Great employees and location. Delicious cupcakes! Problem ......the size of the cupcake has been drastically reduced. I was appalled when I saw the size. I guess they have customer base/loyalty so...they can cut back. That seems to be the way of the world...5 lb bag of sugar now 4 lb. Oh well. Big disappointment!More

Red velvet cupcake was moist with great flavor, the frosting was very light. Service was excellent, and coffee was good also.

Visited Williamsburg for the weekend and stopped in for a treat with my girls. Little pricey but for a once in awhile treat they were great. The Chocolate was very good quality and the Vanilla you could see it in the cake.

If you have never tried these cupcakes, you need to! Always freshly made, great variety and special flavors of the day. My favorite is the Salted Caramel!

My mouth waters at the thought of these cupcakes. We went with Extraordinary Cupcakes for our wedding and it was a great choice. They are so moist and rich. Also they are very affordable compared to other bakeries in the area. Many different flavors to...choose from. Service is excellent. I live and DC and this place is better than Georgetown Cupcake. Just do it.More
