Our Wine and Dine Group of 13 people thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Provencal. We had a capable and courteous server in a separate room. Everyone enjoyed his or her entree selection and the reasonably priced wine. This was a repeat visit for the group which says there must be something special about the venue.

This was our first time back to Cafe Provencal since the new chef arrived a few months ago. The food was very good with excellent service. Amber did a wonderful job and was the most pleasant server that we have encountered in a long time. For appetizers my wife had a cheese board with a sampling of very delicious cheeses,... More

Inventive dishes and delightful pairings served with flair by our favorite waiter, Craig! The cast-iron pork roast was moist and full of flavor. The ahi tuna was seared beautifully and playfully complimented with tomato confit with vanilla, homemade tabouli with pistachios and cornbread infused sauce. Don't forget half-price wine served Sunday through Thursday!

Our first visit since the change in the culinary staff was a delightful surprise. There was a good turnout for a Thursday night and the meals were impressive. The staff could not have been more welcoming. The chef even came to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Everyone's attitude, if they can maintain it, should make for a successful... More

Our stay at Wedmore Place included a complimentary Continental breakfast of fresh-baked croissants, great coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt, but Pricilla was soon plying us with goat-cheese and asparagus quiche fresh from the oven. Completely unexpected, and oh-so-delicious!

Went for a special graduation dinner and one of our dinners was undercooked pork had to be sent back, steak came out not hot, warm at best and soft shell crab was oversalted, the duck was cold. It's a pretty atmosphere but truly I would not return for the food. Our waiter was excellent it was not his fault ,... More

I was looking for a place to celebrate Mother's Day, and selected this quaint little restaurant. I had read the reviews, and expected a nice meal, but I remained skeptical, because it is a French restaurant, and that can be "tricky." The restaurant is small, but nicely appointed. The owners have managed to keep the seating so that you get... More

This dining experience is worth the money for the service alone. The lamb we ordered was from one of the local meat farmers that supply for Cafe Provencal. You can most certainly tell that the dinner was prepared using fresh ingredients. With some of the vegetables being grown on the property for Cafe Provencial, this choice is great for the... More

Located next to Williamsburg Winery in the Wedmore Place Hotel, this was French cuisine at its finest, which was a pleasant surprise in Williamsburg. They surprised us with a local oyster nestled with a multitude of flavors on a porcelain spoon that was out of this world. We next had the cheese plate with 4 varied cheeses with compressed strawberries,... More
