We are still reluctant to eat at a restaurant indoors with the number of cases rising in Hampton Roads but we will still do takeout. We decided to try Tuscany's Mon/Tue night special for two. Wow, just for $30, you get house salad, eight garlic knots, fried calamari, chicken marsala, a choice of pasta, either lasagna or pappardelle bolognese. We also ordered cannolis. First of all, you smell the garlic as you are bringing the food home. There is a lot of food. The container of salad is definitely enough for four, both entrees are enough for two persons each. My husband loved the lasagna and is looking forward to the second piece for lunch. The chicken marsala consisted of six medallions of chicken w/ slices of portobello mushrooms. There is plenty of marsala sauce, absolutely delicious, I should have made some pasta to soak up that delicious wine, butter, & garlic sauce. The calamari was very good - fried items don't travel as well as takeout but it was still delicious w/ the spicy marinara sauce. I cannot wait for the day that we have a meal in the restaurant.

My wife and I lunched here on Friday and were seated right away in one of their booths. Our server was Lesly who did a great job for us! We both ordered the Chicken Francaise and asked Lesly to bring them out on very hot plates or bowls. The kitchen complied, much to our enjoyment of very hot food from beginning to end! A bottle of Placido Pinot Grigio accompanied our meal very well.

Based on recommendations from several neighbors on NextDoor, we decided to try their Mother's Day special for dinner. Wow, what a delicious meal, lots of courses for only $60! The meal came with a French baguette garlic bread & mixed green salad. It started w/ a she-crab soup that we decided to save for lunch tomorrow. There was a pasta course and then a main course, ending w/ cannolis. Everything was packaged well for carryout. The salad & cannolis were packed separately from the hot food. We decided to try the veal sorrentino w/ pesto mashed potatoes and our pasta course was the papparelle alla Romana. The veal sorrentino was a generous portion, you can taste the ricotta, veal, eggplant & the rich pomidoro sauce. The pesto mashed potatoes was also tasty. The papparella alla Romana was enough for another meal! Nicely cooked paparella w/ prosciutto, portobello mushrooms & peas in a creamy sauce. We only had a small taste of the pasta since the veal sorrentino was a large portion and it was outstanding. The salad was also a generous portion of baby greens, tomatoes, cucumber, radish & gorgonzola cheese. Generous use of garlic. We also got an order of garlic knots. Obviously, we have many to eat another day. We will definitely order from Tuscany again and hope to eat in the dining room once the stay at home order is lifted. So nice that this restaurant is close to home.

Great service... food ... VERY bland. We had purchased a Groupon for this restaurant and if the owner of this restaurant wants to impose a mandated gratuity that is fine; however, it should be listed on the Groupon and not on some ambiguous sign when you finally enter his restaurant. In addition to that the sauce is very bland ... it’s almost like opening a can of crushed tomatoes and putting it on linguine. I personally would not recommend this restaurant but then again everybody has different opinions and different taste buds so to each their own.

The servicer was very nice and professional and all started great with drinks, salad and garlic knots. We were confident the reviews were right on. Fast forward to the main course, as soon as I saw the steak I knew something was not right, my hubby felt the same since he also got the steak. Worst steak I’ve ever had and the pasta I ordered was cold. My husband did not enjoy his either but we just made the best of it. I felt sick afterward. Never again will I dine here. Was that even a steak?

I was amused that someone though a mandatory tip was overreaching after getting a huge discount. Not me. My wife bought a Groupon for here, and we felt like we committed highway robbery. The food is excellent. Flavorful, great portions. Her lasgana required a doggy bag and I was hard-pressed to finish my salmon forestier. The $40 discount cost us $20 so the meal was a bargain. Alcohol prices were a bargain, to boot. The tip was of no concern to us because we would normally tip this much. Great meal at a great price. We will continue to patronize this place - without a Groupon.

Though we are reluctant to dine indoors, we picked up lunch one day and it was fabulous. I ordered a lasagna for my husband & I got the Veal Montecarlo. For less than $29 with tax, we had a substantial lunch. Both entrees come w/ house salad & freshly baked garlic knots. The house salad was a full takeout container of lettuces, tomatoes, cucumbers. The included dressing is OK. Garlic knots was soft & very garlicky. My husband loved his lasagna and it was a good sized portion. I loved the Veal Montecarlo, especially the marsala wine sauce, the sauce just complemented the veal & eggplant cutlets. We feel very fortunate that we live so close to a great Italian restaurant. And the restaurant packs the food very well. Once the pandemic is over, we hope to visit and dine in. Meanwhile we will try to support our local businesses and pick up meals to go.

This was our anniversary dinner. Our server also was the bartender and phone answerer and order taker. So our service was quite intermittent. However, she gave us a free salad bowel (wish it could have been dessert instead since we already had ordered and ate a salad.) She also was very confused about my request for a "gin" martini - familiar only with vodka. I had to explain in detail about it. She made it satisfactory. Food and quality were very good. We would recommend this restaurant.

The food was . . . okay. Pretty sure the meatballs had been frozen and simply heated up, flavors were bland, sauce was plain. Portions were big, so that’s good. Seemed to be popular with 75+ crowd. But, comparably priced Italian restaurants in Wburg - like Sals and even Old Towne Pizza - are significantly better. I rarely, rarely leave negative reviews. I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to Italian food. But this was just not very good.

Tuscany Ristorante was so accommodating to our requests for catering. We had a small group gathering catered to the Colonies of Williamsburg, nearby. The food came exactly on time and was delicious! There was more than enough to feed our group and was just what the new bride and groom wanted! We had meatballs, lasagna, chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, salad and bread. Everything was so good. Calling and talking to the chef and the staff there was just as pleasant. They were very professional and polite in answering my many questions. Overall a great experience, easy ordering and GREAT food!

This is our favorite restaurant on our annual Williamsburg vacation. The lunch menu features excellent specials, delicious food, good choices and reasonable prices. The service provided by Elena was exceptional-pleasant, professional, attentive. The tossed salad was fresh, the dressing perfect, garlic knots very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there with enough for another serving later. Booths and tables provided for safe social distancing. There are tables and umbrellas outside. Great choice!

We discovered two years ago when staying at Marriott At Fords Colony. On Sept 1 we stopped for lunch. George was our server and great excellent service. they have a huge salad bowl that you serve yourself family style. They also had garlic knots that are wonderful. My husband order the Fetutucini Tetrazzini which had beef tenderloin, shitake mushrooms seres in their house made vodka sauce. It was wonderful he gave me a bite. I ordered the Egpllant ripieno which was eggplant ricotta cheese spinach topped with mozarella with marina. plus it came with linguini with their marina sauce. The meal was wonderful. We had wanted to have their wonderful cannoli, but unfortunately it was not available. We told other people about the wonderful food and service when at the pool. We plan to visit when we come next time to Williamsburg. Our second visit was on the 8th. This time Anastasi was our server. I think she was our server two years ago. My husband wanted the Fetucchini tetrazzini again and I asked about having something with the vodka sauce and she said they could also make it with chicken breast. It was not on the menu but they did prepare it for me. They were once again out of canolli but she guaranteed that my husband would like their tiramisu. It was amazing. The chef is from Italy. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with their menu.

Our group of 8 had an early dinner and it was outstanding. George our server took great care in serving us. The portions are large so consider sharing with a friend. (There is a charge for sharing, but it is reasonable). My wife and I shared the calamari which was lightly bread and tasty. She and a friend shared the lasagna which they both enjoyed. Our dining partners had chicken piccata, Caesar salad, crab cake & shrimp and they all enjoyed. They start you with freshly baked garlic knots and they are really good. I had the veal limone and it was sooooo good.the fresh veggies instead of the pasta was a hit as well. Really enjoyed Tuscany and you will too. Go hungry and you will enjoy! Will go back for sure the next time in Williamsburg.

We just spent 3 nights in Williamsburg. I asked my family (husband and 3 sons aged 12-17) what their favorite restaurant was. This was a hit! Off the beaten path and in a strip mall. They were hesitant at first. I reassured them I read reviews & this restaurant was highly recommended. We left and they agreed… food was really good! They give you PLENY of excellent garlic knots/rolls for the table as well as a family sized house salad. Portions were large. We loved the ala vodka and carbonara sauces. Good mozzarella sticks. Unimpressed by pizza. But I’m from NY. Don’t judge a book by its cover and give this restaurant a try!

We've been here at least 4 times throughout various stages of the pandemic. They have always been nothing but on top of the current guidelines and gracious about ensuring everyone is complying. We've had a different server each time and I couldn't pick a favorite- they were all on top of things and check in often no matter how busy they were. The food never disappoints and there are so many great options. My favorites are their pasta seafood dishes. We love their garlic knots and salad that come with every meal as well. We took the kids for the first time last night and their meals were huge! The kids pizza was made with fresh mozzarella and gigantic. Have recommended to many friends and my parents have added it to their list of favorites when they are here seasonally.
