My husband and I love this place since we ate there after our wedding in January 2013. Great food and atmosphere. The menu changes all the time depending on what's in season. If you like trying new foods you will love this place. From steam mussels or a unique hamburger this is your place.

We asked some locals we had been jamming with for a restaurant recommendation and they came up the Green Leaf Grill. Turned out to be a very good lead. The pan seared duck breast was very tasty and tender and the Ruben excellent. Definitely worth the time to detour off I 64.

The food was great, my wife is a vegan and had the coconut curry with tofu. She loved it. Unfortunately the A/C wasn't working well enough to keep us comfortable. The homemade potato chips were amazing. They also have roasted red pepper hummus as a vegan option. No vegan desserts was a disappointing finish. Not even fruit.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were seated right away and the kitchen was quick, generous and provided flavorful dishes. Casual and creative with plenty of choices.

Found this jewel in downtown Waynesboro on a Sunday night after hiking a small portion of the AT. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was family friendly and quaint. Prices were average and a good value. The air conditioning was cold the night we were there, so bring a light jacket if you are there during the summer.

We were recommended this place by our Inn Keeper. The food was delicious. I had the bacon wrapped scallops which were cooked perfectly. Only downfall was the heat. Our table was in the front near the window and was very hot. The main seating area seemed cooler.

Found Green Lead from TripAdvisor after day hiking SHEN. With all the chain fast food joints and a practically empty Main St. wasn't sure what to find. Best shrimp and grits I ever had!!!! GL was in a store front on Main. Inside nicely appointed, ceiling fans and friendly attentive staff. Family of 4 had dinner with two apps and... More

Used yelp to find it, in the city which is primarily shut down on a Sunday night. Staff so friendly, atmosphere relaxed, clean. Gumbo amazing, tried to duplicate at home. Food was all fresh, home cooking. Yum

Stopped in for a late lunch. Tried the Cobb Salad (homemade dressing😄) and the Flat Iron Steak. Both were excellent. Located on Main St. in downtown Waynesboro. Nothing fancy but prompt friendly service and great food. Like the local establishments. Actually it's 3 1/2 stars!

I can see why this is ranked highly. The food was wonderful, it's a cute place, and the waitress was super-friendly. She took very good care of us, and it was busy in there. We both liked what we had to eat, and we'd go back again.

We are a casual fine dinning restaurant that makes our food from scratch. We offer jumbo scallops wrapped in house cured bacon, grilled flat iron and sirloin steaks, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, Po-boys and one of the best reubens made with house made sauerkraut in Virginia. Most of our menu can be modified to be Gluten free as well. We look forward to seeing you soon
