Stopped in this place for dinner and was very disappointed. First it is in a strip mall setting going east on 29 out of Warrenton, so it does get quite a bit of tourist traffic from D.C...but...that does not excuse the overall sourness of expressions on the faces of the greeters. Then the food! I have eaten in many Outbacks... More

Looks like Outback is trying to regain their former status of a real steak house restaurant. I personally in general they were in decline, but with our recent experience we feel happy about our experience there. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, seated and didn't have to wait forever for a server, and the food came out in a... More

I stopped at the Outback on the way home from a trip. I got there just after the normal lunch hours and was quickly seated and served. I had a bonus coupon and got an upgraded steak. If you are headed south on US 29, it is a little challenging to get to the Outback. You have drive through a... More

I often stop at this Outback on my way to Washington. It is in many ways like other Outbacks, of course, but the service here (Brandon C on this trip) is excellent. I had firecracker salmon with baked potato and veggies, along with a great local IPA. Excellent!

Stopped here with wife at lunchtime. Wings were pretty good. Burger was served on an oversized bun with limp lettuce. Also, needed salt...

We used the call ahead seating capability and only waited 15 minutes on a crowded Friday evening at meal time. The timing of the appetizers and main course was perfect. The meal were also prepared weary well - a true high quality dining experience. Our server, Mitchell B was superb in all respects. He was extremely helpful sharing his extensive... More

As folks previously mentioned, coming here for dinner on a weekend will be busy. I had the bourbon bacon rib eye, wife had potato bacon soup and filet, and we finished off with a cheesecake slice. The meat was cooked perfectly and decent quality in the cut for a chain steak place. Service was great and pretty efficient in getting... More

This is a difficult review to write because Outback in Warrenton is packed every night and beloved by just about everyone. I don't dislike it at all, yet at the same time I do feel it could be more. Their steaks are great and one seldom can go wrong with that. Today we had a blooming onion (my first) and... More

Wife suggested dinner at the Outback and I'm glad she did. Crowded but that's Friday night for you. Fifteen minute wait while we sipped at the bar. I chose the unadorned Mahi Mahi -- very tasty indeed as were the very basic but also tasty veggies served with it. Bread mini-loaf was great (why can't you find bread like that... More

So, if you see my reviews you'll see we typically stick to local farm-to-table and/or higher-end eateries and these "typical" pricey chains is the reason why! Upon arriving, there was a large wait outside with many patrons smoking cigarettes right at the front door. Walking past a cloud of smoke to get into the restaurant is nearly as bad as... More
