Because we are vegetarians, my wife and I were enticed by the interesting menu that this restaurant offered. We were not disappointed! I wish there was a restaurant like this near us. We brought our son and his family who are all meat eaters and they were equally as satisfied. parking I a bit of a challenge, so make sure... More

This space has been several different restaurant over the years. We had not been in Warrenton in several years so decided to try the Bear. If you want to see their menu I suggest when you go to their website clik on the PDF choice to see the actual menu. It points out that items in black come out of... More

Stopped for lunch. Mae's chix salad sandwich was yummy. Great drinks with an inspired menu selection. Coke slaw was super.

We dropped by for a quick lunch, and had the hotdogs, fettucini bolognese and the fried oysters. All were great (including, somewhat surprisingly, the fried oysters). You can get plain hotdogs, but they have a variety of options, including a truly spicy/hot version with bacon and bacon jalapeño sauce. (I love spicy, but I had to take off a bit... More

For this level of dining, everything was excellent, better than that, food, prices, friendly service. The ambiance of a 150 year old building, especially the "cellar'", was just perfect. Can't wait to go back and we eat out 80% of the time and worldwide.

We have been several times for a variety of occasions. Always pleased. Such options as pizza(made to order in front of you) @ the Brick oven, burgers and lots of other choices for alternative diets. Service is usually good.

This is kind of a combo place - both pizzas and regular restaurant fare. I had a calzone that was very tasty. Others in the party had sandwiches. All were happy.

Finally made it to Black Bear Bistro. Went for birthday lunch with my Mom and sister. We decided to each get a dish and share. Started with risotto balls in a tomato sauce. Served in a mini iron skillet, these were amazing! Cheesy and just the right consistency, cooked in the brick oven. Best part was the slightly spicy, but... More
