Actually had a nice dinner with my wife, sat near the fireplace on New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful dinner and a couple drinks. Was a nice friendly relaxing place to go and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service.

Went there for a rehearsal dinner and the one waitress did the best she could - unflappable with a lot of people in a small space. I had one of the wood fired pizzas - can't remember the name- but I found it to be fairly standard & contrary to my usual tastes it was worse the next day. I... More

Just finished eating lunch. Here's what I ordered: - Capa Rossa Pizza It is EXCELLENT. Crust and toppings are fresh and delicious. Also, I tasted the spaghetti, steak and cheese sub and french fries from other plates. Everything I ate was great. Our server Travis was busy during the lunch hour and did a good job. Would lunch here again.

This restaurant always had good food but over the years it has tried to reinvent itself and has gone through several minor configurations and name changes. The service can be tiresome at times; long wait to be seated, long wait to have an order taken and a long wait for food to be served and the bill to be presented.... More

I had not had fried green tomatoes since I was a kid, and these were absolutely great. Ate downstairs where the stone walls and fireplace provided a warm, pleasant environment.

Stop here for the oyster appetizer--- fried w this good sauce. Some of the best oysters I've had. The falafel sandwich was ok. Very moist falafel balls and light on the sauce. My husband ordered the special restaurant salad and was unhappy that there wasn't any lettuce--- it's a salad right?!?

In town for business, was encouraged to have dinner at Black Bear. Nice location in historical district. Quickly seated, fast service, good food. The hard cider on tap was like drinking rose water, delicious.

Stopped here in March 2016 during a "girls only" weekend trip with my daughters and my oldest daughter's future mother-in-law. So glad we found this place. We were seated downstairs and let me just say, you are seriously missing out if you are seated upstairs! The atmosphere is awesome and the food is great. Service was great too. If you... More

We dropped by for my sister-in-law's birthday and ordered the fried oysters. They were absolutely delicious with light breading and cooked perfectly. My sister in law suggested the shrimp Po Boy. I have been to New Orleans at least 12 times and the Po Boy rivaled every one I've ever eaten. Staff was friendly and service was good. We'll go... More
