Parking lot was full so that is always a good sign. Service was friendly but busy. Never got my water refilled and needed it because burger was really salty. Ask for crispy bacon and it wasn't on my burger. Asked again and when it arrived, it was not crispy. My husband ate it. Asked for extra onion and got 3... More

Found ourselves in need of takeout for dinner and decided to give Margie and Ray's a try. We ordered salad, soup and a variety of entrees. Sea crab soup and crab cake very good. Generous portions. Meals prepared in a very timely manner. Would dine there again.

First visit for dinner. Ordered all you can eat crab legs. They were supposed to be served with butter that turned out to be yellow seawater. Crab legs were old and over steamed. For $35 I can go to Captain George's and have better legs with better butter and a great buffet with dessert for the same price and I... More

Excellent and bountiful dinner. "Our Famous Hurricane Margie Platter ~ Fried Only ~ Feeds Two" is a little misleading. Add a couple extra sides to go with the two cole slaw servings that come with the meal, and it is dinner for 3 -4! It's good, it's a lot, and it is worth a drive to get there!!!

A wonderful evening enjoying Virginia Beach like it was in the 1960s . A rare gem in a town that is being taken over by chain establishments. Food was fresh, local and delicious. Make sure you eat here the next time you are in Virginia Beach. Support the locals and keep a fine old place in business

Stopped here yesterday with a ravenous appetite after a bone-chilling walk on the beach in Sandbridge with our Chocolate Lab. Had a cup of their She-crab soup and some fresh blackened Rock Fish. Both were just what the doctor ordered. Soup, fresh fish and homemade Key Lime Pie and I was a new man. This is a local place, not... More

We go here every time we are in VA Beach and I have not been disappointed yet. Not much to look at from the outside, but it is a wonderful local joint. Very casual with a quaint, friendly atmosphere. You must try the She Crab Soup. It is the best I've found.

On our way to the Back Bay Wildlife Refuge, we passed this unassuming spot, and figured it might be good for lunch. By the time we returned, the parking area was nearly full with the lunch crowd! The she-crab soup, touted as the "world's best", was very good, but not better than Murphy's Pub in Virginia Beach. The atmosphere is... More

Located in Sandbridge, Margie and Ray's Crabhouse is worth a visit. My wife and I always make it a point to visit at least a few times during our winter escape to Virginia Beach. Don't miss their famous She Crab Soup, cup or bowl, which we order without the Old Bay seasoning. Try their pan seared scallops, a huge portion... More

We had a party of 7. They were able to seat right away. The wait staff were friendly. Many huge family crowd. We ordered the steamed crab legs, she crab soup and the Fried Neptune platter. The fried Neptune platter was huge with a lot of foods. Everything was good. It was a nice family gathering dinner place.
