A very good little cafe style place for lunch, but the food was just average. I ordered a loaded Philly cheesesteak and my wife had the bacon friend hot dog, which was delicious. The food was good but nothing to write home about. Inexpensive.

This was previously Pete's Hot Dog Cafe so I'll assume newer ownership. Luckily, Lee followed the plan and the food is still fast, good and cheap. I like the NY Hot Sausage but the dogs and other things are good. Not fancy, pretty much a...nice hole in the wall diner.More

We stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner and thought the food was really good. A bit pricey but worth it as opposed to a greasy fast food place. They need to advertise more because it never seems busy. Would hate to see...the business close due to lack of customers.More

The wife and I stopped for a visit while in the area. It was the "Hot Dog Café" years ago and then changed to "Pete's Hot Dogs and More" some years back. Now is under a new name and new owners who stated they have...had the place for about 8 months at the time of our visit. We had 2 Hot Dogs each; these are the "snap" dogs (natural casings) which we like so much, 2 "all the way" and 2 with chili only and there "crispy fries". The fries are unique and good but the wife did not like them much, I thought they were good. Their chili was "okay" but not as good as we would have liked, kind of sweet and lacking spice. The buns were semi grilled vice steamed which I don't care for; kind of hard vice soft. They do not do the "breakfast" as they once did any more which is listed on their wep site; there is a sign on the door stating so with a new menu posted. Overall; would we visit again, yes. It was good but not great. We only had the hot dogs and nothing else from the menu which has a lot of choices as you would expect from a hot dog and more spot. I would not make a special trip to visit as we had in the past with other owners. A plus is that they offer 10% discount for active/retired military.More
