This is a great place to have breakfast and experience more of the local VB scene. Beware, it may be crowded!

We went around 9 AM on a Sunday. It was a bit of a wait but peasant. After being seated and placing an order our food arrived in a jiffy. Great menu, good food, and well trained staff. You can not beat the 2.50 Mimosas! I wanted to eat there everyday on our vacation.

Another co-worker breakfast here, and we all enjoyed our food. The servers very attentive and menu has an Huge and AMAZING variety of food. There is one breakfast item called The Cadillac that has a bottle of Dom Perignon and two beach bums. You can't go wrong here. ***HINT*** The placed gets packed full of people with a wait period...the... More

Set in an old Virginia Beach cottage less than a block off Atlantic Avenue Doc Taylors has plenty of personality and great food at a very reasonable price. I may have hit them on a bad day but the service didn't match the food - our waiter disappeared after bringing us our breakfast (minus the OJ I ordered) and never... More

Easy to walk past the first time you come here (it's in an old house with not much signage) but after you're here once, you're gonna make it a point to come by again. The food is ridiculous, the staff is friendly and the mimosas are $2.50. Great food at really reasonable prices!!! Plus, the mimosas are $2.50. I'd bet... More

I met the Doc of Doc Taylor's recently and told him in person how I love the place. The names of the foods are fun and the meals are served hot and fresh.

We have eaten here a few times because of gift cards. The food is OK but nothing spectacular. Close to Atlantic Avenue, the main street of the resort. Cost is higher and servings smaller than other places not too far away, most likely due to location. We live here so have many choices.

We always enjoy our visits to Doc Taylors. This is the "brunch" side of two adjacent restaurants (Tautogs is next door for dinner). It is a breakfast "pub" type atmosphere that is clean, airy and well lit but not fancy. Good bloody mary's and mimosas - usually on special.
