This was our 2nd time dining at Gringos and they have the best Tacos in Va Beach for sure! Its a tiny little place, colorfully decorated with a very friendly server group. Their chips and salsa are excellent! Every taco that we have tried has...been phenomenal. Get there before 5pm or you will probably be waiting...or just order ahead and pick it up. We recommend dining in if you can for the full experience. We will be back... again & again & again!!More

A very small restaurant with only a few tables. The tables are socially distant. I ordered a shrimp taco and a chicken taco, which I consumed while sipping on tequila. Good service. An enjoyable meal.

I went to Virgina Beach fir the first time to celebrate my birthday. We wanted to have Mexican food so we found Gringo’s Tequeria online. We saw it was rated highly so that was our choice. We took a chance and lunched at a restaurant that is not at all fancy, and I'm glad we did. It is a small place with good service and tasty Mexican food. The price was delightfully low. We were pleased.

This is a tiny little taco bar, only five tables with COVID restrictions. The food is excellent. There is a limited menu of Mexican food, and it all looked good. Prices for beer are very reasonable. Service was friendly and excellent. The bar has received...awards for fish tacos. I did not try them, since I look for local fish. Come early and be prepared to wait a while, tables do turn over quickly. They do a good carry out business. Parking is across the street, and there is no cross walk so be careful. Two other restaurants and a brewery share the same parking, another reason to come early.More

I bought a takeout dinner that was almost as good as thr onrs I've had in the restaurant. Thr only thing missing was Gringo's ambiance. It will be nice to enjoy a sit down meal at the restaurant again.

I had heard about Gringo’s for a while and happened to make it there yesterday. You start with fresh salsa and chips. They are known for their tacos so I ordered the carne asada taco. It was delicious. The steak was very tender and flavorful....My husband had the spicy shrimp taco with pineapple salsa and said it was very good and quite spicy. It is a small place so get there early or expect to wait for a table (you can order a drink while you wait to pass the time along).More

Had a friend recommend this place so we tried it out. Pretty casual place so we didn’t have to dress up- shorts and T-shirt’s. The seating area is limited and it’s a pretty small place so the wait can be long but we didn’t have...to wait more than 15 mins. However, we got some drinks while we waited and the service at the bar and for our dinner was excellent. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The menu was awesome and the food was delicious. We enjoyed our visit here and would return. Good local place to try.More

Love their soft tacos!!!!! Service is awesome. One taco is a meal! Wish they served white sauce though. But definitely going back many times. I had the beef tacos but fish tacos are their specialty.
