This was a wonderful restaurant. Each and every item we ordered was prepared by hand with care and attention and you could taste it in every bite. The food was truly delicious; the best clam chowder I have had. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the owner, Wayne was welcoming and friendly. The Pungo Grill is a gem and... More

If you expect the kind of service you receive at commercial restaurants like PF Chang's, Macaroni Grill, or Bonefish Grill.... then don't go to Pungo Grill then write a horrible review about it on here. It doesn't do this place justice at all. This place is a hidden gem that allows my family to get away from the strip and... More

Unsure about what to order, I asked the owner, chef, bartender, maître de' & bottle washer Wayne for a whitefish recommendation. Wayne whipped up a sweet catfish topped with a homemade blend of seasonings along with a side of cheese grits and potatoes. The dinner was capped with a home made creamy key lime pie. Add to that Wayne's friendly... More

WORST restaurant ever. After reading a flyer that was on the fridge of the house we rented, we called and made 7:00pm reservations for 8 people. Only 1 other table was seated and then 3 other tables sat down after we got there. It was 20 minutes before our order was taken. All the other tables got their food before... More

We also went there on a Groupon. We arrived right when they opened on 5:30 on a Sunday night. It took us 1.5 hours to get our meal!!! Only one other couple came in 30 minutes after us and they seem to know the owners.. and they were waited on feed and left as we were getting our dinner. Also,... More

After reading the reviews, my party and I were hesitant to dine here but we had purchased a Groupon so we went anyways. We were pleasantly surprised. The food and service was great and Wayne was a pleasure. The strawberry daiquiris and strawberry shortcake were both excellent. We will all definitely come back here again.

We had drinks during the Strawberry Festival. A trip to the restroom and peek into the kitchen observed pure filth so we decided to not order food. Sad. The place has so much potential.

Went there on a Groupon and the food was terrible. It's a dark and smelly place. The picture of the food looks nothing like what is served!! Beware!!!

This restaurant has SO MUCH potential but fails to deliver. From the minimal bar selections (ordered a dirty martini got rancid small olives that were in vinegar in my drink!), to the repeated "We're out of ____" when we tried to order off the menu. We were seated at the bar (hardly anyone there except people using up their Groupons... More
