We visit EAT on a regular basis when we visit the beach (even though this is my first review) but now with recent gluten free dietary constraints for one of our family were unsure of how well they would do. I called ahead and asked. They said they could handle us. They did very well. There is a single menu... More

Great atmosphere friendly staff and food was off the charts. My friends had rockfish which they devoured and I had the wonderful and tasty beef tenderloin. Definitely we will be back!! So glad we found this little gem!

This is quite a small place, cozy, with really friendly staff. Our waitress, Victoria, was lovely. The food is fresh and forward-thinking. Had the gazpacho soup and tuna tataki, finished with grilled angel cake. The bread was delish. All was really yummy, although the gazpacho could have been a bit "zingier" in taste. It's located right on the end of... More

Searching out the more local places "Eat" is it! Great vibe with great service~Not a big place or big menu but something for everyone even our kids ~ who said Meatballs are best they ever had. Tapas style so fun to get a bunch of items a try. Our cocktials were tasty and calamari app with red curry was amazing!... More

Wasn't too sure by its appearance but don't let that fool you! The service was outstanding, the food was amazing, large portions, very reasonably priced. My wife and I had dinner there last night and with a million restaurant choices in va beach we are going back tonight.

We started with the coquille St Jacques appetizer, as well as the escargot served over roasted bone marrow. The scallops were cooked to perfection, so much so, that the wife changed her pick of entrees to the scallop and grits (which she also loved). I don't know that I've had a better scallop than this appetizer! The escargot and marrow... More

While spending a week at the beach, you tend to tire of the same seafood items and are looking for something else. After reading reviews on TA, my wife and I decided to try this place. We were both blown away! Except for the seating right by the door with the AC blowing on me, I soon put that aside... More

It has become a regular for us when we visit. Food is exceptional and service is great. Make an online reservation with open table. Daily specials on the chalk board as well as items that are always available. Menu has good diversity without being too large. Oysters Rockefeller ate a must, very good. The classic wedge salad is also a... More

This charming little restaurant could be easily passed by since it's nondescript exterior at the front of an old condo building is small and parking sparse but it is definitely worth seeking out. While the menu is not extensive the items are well thought out by the chef and prepared. We chose the deluxe charcuterie & cheese plate for an... More

Went to "Eat" and was definitely impressed. It's a quaint restaurant, simplistic, that serves superb food. The type of place where you can easily hold a conversation without shouting. The bottle of South African Shiraz we embellished was more than reasonable at $28. We started with the Pistachio Goat Cheese Salad, $8.00. Spring mix, with, craisins, nuts, and warm pistachio...
