My wife and I throughly enjoyed our food. Service was good and the timing from seating to drinks to appetizer to meal was perfect. Prices were high but portions were large. Our only disappointment was that the decor just didn't seem to be that of an upscale restaurant just plain seating, worn menus and somewhat bare walls

We stopped in for dinner and we're happil surprised with the experience. First of all our server stephanie really knew what was good on the menu. She suggested the veal. I had their veal with sausage and vegies. It was topped with parm. If it wasn't for the best calimari in the world I would have finished the whole meal.... More

This is not a flash place - plywood booths and plain fixtures. But to me, that is a fine balance. The decor invites beach clothing and good times. The food is where it is at and the food is quite good. My husband is super picky and he wants to return at any opportunity. He finds all the veal dishes... More

I live close to Manninios, and I come here frequently. Their tortellini is my usual favorite, but I have tried many of their great dishes. The atmosphere, food, extensive wine list, and great service (I highly recommend Diane)- is why I am a regular customer!

Went with family for a quiet Italian dinner. Had excellent service by Diane on "Wine Night", with the best pasta around! Asked for the cork from our wine bottle since I was making a cork wreath. Diane returned with a "to-go" container full of corks! Now THAT is great service!

My wife and I dined here on Easter.. Mannino's was one of the few places open on Easter.. I was pleased to see a variety of veal dishes on the menu. Our waitress Stephanie was very pleasant and helped guide us through the menu and made several suggestions. My wife had the chicken alfredo and I had the veal francese.... More

The service, food quality and overall experience was better at the Portsmouth location. We have been to the Portsmouth and Virginia Beach locations twice each. Presentation of food at both locations was excellent but just felt the prices were better justified in Portsmouth.

Best Italian I have had outside of Italy. Wonderful experience. Diane is a superb server, helping us w/ our food and wine selections. Caprese salad is awesome. Our entrees were fresh and obviously made from scratch. Absolutely outstanding dinner. Keep up the good work. Ciao.
