I was riding my bike past The Shack and saw the sign saying "Crushes to go"! I was staying across the street so it was very convenient. I checked in at the hostess stand and they said you have to order food if you want...drinks to go. No problem since it was dinner time. Lots of people seated outside at the picnic tables eating and drinking. I ordered drinks and the Wu Tang Pork sandwich to go. The bartender was quick and my food came out fast. I have to say this was the best pulled pork I've tasted in a long time, it was hot and the sauce and fries were great. I highly recommend the Coconut Lime crush as well. I'll be back when I return to the beach.More

Cute spot! Went for Taco Tuesday, and they were really good. Margarita specials, outdoor seating, fun vibe.

We ate at Waterman's the night before and had their orange crush, that was strong, but delicious! The Shack by no means got close to replicating that drink. The orange juice was super watered down and lacked flavor. The outdoor seating space was great and...our waitress was super friendly and quick.More

My wife and I decided to eat an early dinner about 230pm. Our waitress was Malery she did a great job. We ordered hush puppies 6 and pork lumpia 7 as appetizers and Elotes street corn 7. All of this was perfect. We then ordered...our meals, we both got the Asian Kabobs, she got Chicken and I got shrimp. You get a total of either 6 shrimp or 6 pieces of chicken the price is 19 for shrimp and 15 for the chicken. The flavor was good. I had 2 orange slush 1 one bloody Mary the put way too much ice in their drinks. This is the main reason for only 4 starsMore

Not sure if due to COVID but this cool outdoor bar with fireplaces and outdoor games, has turned into a picnic table outdoor restaurant. The food is okay, nothing spectacular. The different flavored orange crushes are amazing! After a certain time though, they charge men...a $5 cover but not for women. The group I came with had 4 guys who weren’t pleased paying a cover when it’s not a bar or nightclub but just a restaurant. We loved coming here for the chill vibes but the new restaurant thing is odd.More

We were happy to find this place for lunch. During these corona virus times it had the perfect set-up, lots of outdoor picnic tables set far apart from each other. Our orders were taken quickly, and a manager stopped by to welcome us and told...us about the establishment. But then it started going down-hill. My husband had ordered the Drake's Sausage Sandwich with onions and spicy brown mustard. What he got was some sausages with fried onions and peppers, NO bread, and when he asked for mustard, he was told they didn't have any. In the mean time, I waited for my food. When I asked the server, it became pretty clear that they had just forgotten about my fish sandwich. It finally came, was just OK, and my husband had already finished his meal. Another thing that bothered me is that though the servers were wearing masks, a good share of them had them down around their chins. Now if the management asks them to wear masks, can't they see to it that they are worn properly, how hard can that be?More

No, it's one block off the beach. You have to cross the street and walk between 2 hotels to get to the boardwalk
