Maybe the best place to eat if you are stuck in Tysons. The samosas were fairly bad, but the lamb and curries were all quite good. Pleasant waitstaff. Outdoor seating is right by parking but at least there is outdoor seating.

Ate here for lunch one day last week. I had called the restaurant to ask about parking options since we were going to have about 30 people in our group. The restaurant did let me know about the parking garage in the back but didn't mention a specific level or row to park in. The second floor isn't marked with... More

Often visit this place for lunch buffet with office colleagues and had a good experience. Once we reached after 12:30 and the place was completely crowded. Host tried his best to accommodate us in a makeshift space. Before we said no to that arrangement, he realized how uneasy the setting was and asked us to wait for few minutes. Within... More

We arrived on a Thursday night - about 7 tables were seated/dining. We were promptly seated. Our order was promptly taken. Our beer was poured shortly after we ordered. We were also provided with papadums and dipping sauces (tamarind, mint). Our entrees were tasty: 1/2 tandoori chicken and one order of saag paneer. But we had to ask 3 times... More

Our families have used Bombay Tandoor for multiple family events and for our Wedding Reception at the Westfields Marriott Sept 2016, even though we looked at several caterers, we came back to Bombay Tandoor and met with Varun and Naveed to plan out our menu way back in January 2016. Both were very helpful in making suggestions, with a tasting... More

Went here with extended family for a religious dinner celebration. We had a section of the restaurant with our large crowd. The food was decent. We are all Indians and no one complained about the spicing. Most Indian restsurants over spice the food and most of the dishes have a similar taste. Not this place. It was not a buffet.... More

Service: Waiters busy talking; no planning to keep anybody near door to welcome or guide or for pick-up orders. Food: Poorly cooked chicken. They have nice location, nice ambiance, which is confusing though. I think people over there know how to make things WORSE.

Wow, invited to Bombay Tandoor by some friends for lunch. What a wonderful surprise. They had an extremely large and tasteful lunch buffet. I eat something from each option and only wished I could have eaten more. The aroma, taste and freshness were wonderful. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think the Saag and the Butter chicken, follow by... More

This is an Indian restaurant and being an Indian, there are lot of expectations especially in terms of hospitality, behaviour and courteous towards guests and they played their role very well. Their Thali (veg and non veg) is quite decent. Less in quantity thank expected but filing. Their Naan Quesadilla (chicken tikka) is a must must try and it may... More

Exotic...Indian. Prepare to be lifted to another world. The only Indian fine dining restaurant in Tyson's Corner, open since 2000. Tandoor means "clay oven." It is traditionally used for the baking of bread, meat, and fish. The clay oven, for oil and fat-free cooking, is practical and energy-efficient. Today's health conscious consumers will find Tandoor cooking truly delightful, full-flavored and delicious. Our chefs endeavor to create a large variety of savory clay oven tandoori dishes and exotic curries for your pleasure.
