Wednesday Night dinner. Operating out of a food truck because of a kitchen fire. Four of us had fried oysters, a Nathan’s hot dog with chili, a shrimp plate and a shrimp burger. A glass of wine, two beers and a Diet Coke. Seated out...side on a pleasant raised porch. Food was good, dining area was very nice. Service was excellent.More

Hubby & I had dinner here last night. From the outside it seems cute & unassuming. The inside looks like it was teleported out of DC. Not the decor I expected for Troutville but it was lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Our one...complaint is that the music was a touch loud for our taste - but Hubs & I are both soft spoken & enjoy quiet places so that’s totally our personal preference. Our waiter’s name was Will. He was very sweet, engaging, & perfectly attentive (by that I mean, he didn’t hover but magically showed up when your drink was low). The drink selection was good. We both found beers in our wheelhouses. We ordered fries as an appetizer. They were good/average. We had the ribeye for dinner. It was a bit over cooked (we ordered medium rare & got medium well). But in fairness, steak is very difficult to hit spot on. Especially when it’s not the only thing you have to prepare at any given time. The entree over all was fabulous. It had great flavors, was well thought out/executed, & had beautiful presentation. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be stopping here.More

We ate a delicious meal here last night-I had the seared salmon salad so I could save room for one of the desserts that are made in-house & always outstanding- I have a weakness for the bread pudding! Alejandro is always a help in choosing...a perfect wine- a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal!More

We chose Pomegranate for a birthday celebration last weekend. The restaurant beautiful and the ambience is perfect! We ordered ribeyes, salmon, crab cakes and a chicken dish. All were delicious with excellent presentations. Management was hospitable and gracious. We felt a bit underdressed after coming...off the hiking trail, but they did not turn us away. We had a great experience and look forward to a return visit. Quaint town not far from Roanoke.More

My wife and I went to meet her son's finance for a meal in Troutville VA and we pleasantly surprised to find Pomegranate Restaurant so delightful and delicious. While my wife and Julie had salads, I had the calamari (prepared wonderfully) and the ribeye steak...cooked a little too well for my taste, I ordered medium rare and got closer to medium well, but the steak was delicious even if over cooked. It was a wonderful outing and I look forward to returning once more time.More

Wow! Just wow! I have lived all over the world but never dreamed I would find this quality and diversity in my backyard! My husband and I stopped in on a Friday night. Everyone was so friendly and the interior was warm and inviting. Started...with a great martini at the bar and then dinner. Best calamari I have EVER had as an appetizer, served with a remoulade and a vodka cocktail sauces for dipping. Dinner for me was salmon with a caper dill creme fraiche sauce. Perfectly done and served with smashed potatoes and green beans picked that morning. My husband had surf and turf with steak served with a red wine reduction with mushrooms as well as scallops. We were both stuffed but could not resist the freshly baked chocolate cobbler. We were in misery for the rest of the night (and my scales back me up this morning) but we cannot wait to go back! Thanks to Diana and her staff for a wonderful night!More

A wonderful place to gather with friends, especially with their specialty drink menu (the chocolate martini is a must for desssert)! The appetizer menu is delicious and would recommend the calamari, scallops or the brie. They do offer a casual option on the dining menu...for the more budget conscious, but we decided to go all out. So, for around 50.00 each, we had drinks, apps and a delicious main course paired with the cozy atmosphere and no feeling of being rushed at our table. The wait staff were very attentive and professional making this group of moms feel pampered. This is my third time to visit this restaurant and I feel like the food was the most amazing this time.More

Our Son-in-Law graduated from Virginia Tech and the entire family met at the Pomegranate Restaurant to celebrate. We had reservations and had selected our meal from a menu a week before. They had a room that separated our group from the rest of the restaurant....There were more than 20 family members ranging in age from seniors to children and the staff wonderfully met all of our wishes. The food was well prepared, delicious and served promptly. One of my favorite things about the restaurant was the wine selection. The Bar Manager was knowledgeable about wine and the Pomegranate had a very good wine selection at very fair prices. If we lived near the Pomegranate Restaurant, we would come regularly as a date night. Everyone in our large group was very happy with the food, the service and the selection. I checked the box for fine dining only because the food was delicious and the wine selection was perfect. The prices were so reasonable, it is family affordable. We would eat here again.More

We showed up in jeans & t-shirts. While we felt a bit under dressed, they were more than welcoming.
