My wife and I ate a late lunch (3:00pm) here on a Saturday in the last week of July 2016. The restaurant is located on the left as one passes south out of Tappahannock, right off route 17, the main route through town. So location gets a 5. The exterior is unimpressive and one might well drive right by. There... More

We made a quick stop on the way to Newport News. The fried seafood is surprisingly excellent. Oysters were cooked perfectly and were fresh. Soft shell crab portion was generous. I'd recommend the smallest size...it's lots of food. This is a roadside Cafe and a good stop. I wouldn't call it a destination restaurant. We will stop again if we're... More

But the food is always good and generously served. Mom&Pop place with son-in-law chef. Recommend all seafood. VG crab bisque. Hush puppies are addictive. Home made deserts but I never have room left over for them.

Great, fresh soft shell sandwiches with homemade fries. Kids were thrilled with the hamburgers and hot dogs. Even our son with food allergies was well taken care of. Server was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The big finish was the delicious homemade brownies!

We visited To Do Café on a Saturday for lunch. It appears to be a combo seafood market and restaurant. The menu is pure Tidewater Virginia. We had perfect fried oysters, cole slaw, butter beans, hush puppies, and iced tea. For two, it all came $30.The cafe's approximate 12 tables were not crowded, and the service was prompt and efficient.... More

WONDERFUL oysters - at the best price anywhere - and Megan's service is friendly, efficient, and fun. This place is definitely on my "loves" list!

We have been here twice and have had excellent meals both times. casual dining at really reasonable prices. Owner is all around restaurant checking on diners and is a great conversationalist. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner but have not tried their breakfast YET.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Seafood is their specialty and can be ordered fried or broiled. The side dishes are homemade. The prices are reasonable.

This place serves pretty good food. It's a shame they don't have more room or move to another location where they could have room to expand. For what it is, it's good and reasonably priced.

Small, but very friendly place. Good choices for seafood and quite tasty. The homemade desserts were delicious. Definitely a place to come back for another tasty meal!
