Stopped in for breakfast, service was fast and friendly. Food left a lot to be desired. Eggs under cooked, sausage over cooked and burnt bacon. This place was not busy, they should have had no reason to overlook these issues. Thought the price was a little steep as well (2 people $27.00).

Met family for breakfast there! Great service and great food. We lingered a good while but never felt rushed. Coffee was good, server was jovial and prompt. Everyone commented on the total experience of eating at the family restaurant that has been in Suffolk for many years!

Stopped in on the way to NC. Four of us. Took ONE HOUR to be served slop from cans. If I had been with different people I would have been out of there after 10 but these people had much more patience than me. The country ham plate was two thin slices of deli ham with canned beets. The turkey... More

As a child our family went to Bunny's often. The last time I was there was about 20 years ago. I was telling my husband about it on our way down to NC and on the way back we stopped. The carpet was probably the original. The place had 4 total sets of 2 for the 'lunch rush' at 12.... More

We had a group of 22 people in town for an antique car tour. All were from states other than Virginia and are a fickle group. We made a reservation for our return trip. Bunny's was prepared for our arrival, gave us excellent service and everyone was extremely happy with their meals. This restaurant has been here many years. A... More

We went to Bunnys restaurant for lunch, absolutly the best club sandwich Ive had in a while! They use real turkey breast and crispy bacon, came with fries, delicious!! My boyfriend had the open faced turkey sandwich, it came with mashed potatoes and gravy! It was all really good and our server was so sweet and attentive!

I was in with my large family after my Grandmothers funeral. We were the only customers in at the time. I was very impressed with the food and the waitstaff was very attentive. I was one of the last ones to leave, and being distracted by my children, I left my pocketbook. I realized that it was missing and returned... More

Just moved to the area. Was told by a longtime local they used to have the best fried chicken, but she hadn't been there in years. Now I know why. When my husband and I went in, there was 1 other customer in there. Took the waitress 5 mins. to bring us menus. She asked if we wanted dinner rolls... More

If you like traditional Southern cuisine without fuss this is it. Collards, tomato pudding, butter beans, fried okra, snap beans are some of the side dishes. I had turkey and dressing and my brother had chicken and dumplings. While the collards were not excellent, the veggies were very good as we're the entries. I'm told the fried catfish are excellent.... More
