We dined here today, Friday 8/28, on our way through and it was a wonderful experience through and through. Despite having stopped through years ago with my wife, I felt like this was a completely different restaurant due to a wonderful renovation that occurred since...my last stop with what my daughter called "an enchanting and magical patio". We had a bigger group this time around but the service and food was still as perfect as I remembered. Our waitress was a young lady named Lea who was very kind and patient with our large group having no idea what we wanted (if you go there, be prepared for a HUGE menu and even bigger portions) and made some wonderful suggestions. I stuck with a traditional chicken parmesan dinner with a side of spaghetti that hit the spot. Our whole family was impressed with our meals (and all needed a doggy bag!). Our waitress not only guided us through the menu with her impeccable knowledge on the dishes but also never let our drinks run dry. The restaurant was very busy but the kitchen staff managed to make and send out the entire order quickly and efficiently. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were very well kept which was nice. My only complaint was there was no baby changing station so my daughter had to take my grandson to the car to change which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I would highly recommend for anyone in the area to stop by and give this little mom and pop shop a try, it seems to be getting better and better.More

I went here twice since it was relatively close to my hotel. The first night I had the ziti with mussels, scallops and calamari. I was pretty impressed. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The second time I had a large sausage calzone. Do not...order this unless you are feeding three or four people! Wow. This was huge and so good. I didn’t finish it. Matt was the server and couldn’t be more helpful. It was a late night at work and i cut it close on my arrival. They were happy to help and were very friendly. I highly recommend this place.More

This is the second time it has taken 2 hours to get our delivery; and some of the food was barely warm. It is a shame because their salads are fresh and their food is good. Unfortunately we are looking for a new Italian restaurant...that delivers.More

Met halfway from JMU to have lunch with our son, so that he could see Grandmom and his favorite uncle. We ended up here after Christina's told us it would be an hour and a half wait, despite the fact the we had made reservations....We were a bit hesitant since Strasburg is but only so big. Based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. Great menu, great food that will feed us for days, and really good service. We would definitely go there again.More

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was well prepared and delicious. The portions are big. I enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs. I will definitely return.

Across the parking lot from the Marriott Fairfield Inn, this restaurant has an extensive menu of homemade Italian food, including a long list of veal, chicken and seafood pasta. In addition to large servings, the salads were very fresh & service warm & friendly. Our...dinner was topped off with Homemade lemon cake and spumoni ice cream. If you’re anywhere nearby, stop by for lunch or dinner and you will not be disappointed.More

We are heading from South Carolina to Connecticut and stayed at the Fairfield Inn next door. Chose this restaurant due to it being next door and the good reviews. Walked in and before even seated the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. Mind you...it was a very slow night. No silver was provided, waitress did not know the menu. Food was bland at best. Salad dress provided in squirt bottles, salad was mostly cheap onions and not chopped well. Looking up I saw this disgusting vent, of which there were several. Other pic is what was left of my shrimp scampi (only the shrimp was palatable). This place must only survive based on people from the hotel walking over after a long day on the road.More

I have eaten in this restaurant several times in the past and the food was always delicious. However, I was there Thursday evening and the food was not good. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and the chicken was so over cooked it was black. The...cooks had put so much sauce over the chicken to cover it up that I had to scrape if off to see how dark the chicken was. I told our server, who said “Well I guess you don’t need a take out box for the rest.” No offer to have the food remade or to take it off the bill. I was very disappointed. Very poor customer service.More

We had a delicious meal here after a long day's drive north on 81. Good eating on this route can be hard to come by. Castiglia's is just off the Strasburg exit on Old Valley Pike, has a menu for everyone and great service. Clean....Not fancy but won't be hard on your budget or time frame. Staff were great. We got there in the early supper hour but by the time we left, it was full. Biggest hamburger I have ever had - could only eat half of it.More

This little gem is right off Rt-81 in Strasberg, Va. They were in the process of decorating for Christmas when we went in - a very cute place that the owners obviously put a lot of time and effort into. The menu is EXTENSIVE with...something to please no matter what you may be in the mood for. We ordered some Chicken Piccata and Baked Ravioli which came with some fresh baked bread and a generous salad. The 6 large Ravioli were excellent with a tasty sauce and an ample quantity of Melted Cheese. The Chicken was perfect with lots of ‘sauce’ and a good quantity of Capers. Service was pleasant and efficient and prices were in line. Highly Recommend.More
