I’ve lived in NYC and at the beach and have never had a crab cake better than at Sweetwater…. Sorry to any naysayers….. hands down best!…. Super big, fresh , not fried, free of too many fillers…. Just nice big crab meat!
Had a lovely lunch at the restaurant on a weekday. Lovely day for outdoor dining. We started with a bread service, The bread was very fresh and delicious, I ordered the crab cake sandwich which was fabulous. There were 4 of us and we all...enjoyed or mealsMore
The food was amazing. I would recommend the Brussel sprouts. They were the perfect mix of sweet and crunchy. I only have one complaint. Service. It took a while for us to order, and our waiter kept on getting side tracked. This restaurant was one...of the best though!More
Just had a great lunch at Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling but the experience was marred by a family that decided it was ok to cut up some food and feed it to their dog on the plate it came on. When I brought this to...the attention of the manager she commented that it wasnt their policy to allow dogs to eat off their plates but she did nothing to correct the customer and seemed a little indifferent to the issue. We routinely eat at the Carlyle group restaurants in the Northern Virginia area and have done our best to support during the last year during the pandemic. The restaurants have done such a good job with sanitizing against COVID but contrary to many dog owners opinion, a dogs tongue is not a sanitary item as the often lick everything and anything so allowing the dog to eat off the same plates as humans is just not healthy.More
Definately recommend. Found this place on a "near you" search. I wasn't expecting the Fridays or Ruby Tuesdays look. Almost left, but glad we didn't. Beer and Mojito were really good. The food was high end. Do not miss the rolls! The Ozzie rolls are...a must. Kind of like a Chinese donut without the sugar.More
My husband and I went there for dinner. A friend suggested the restaurant, so we thought we'd give it a try. My friend said the drunken ribeye was the best steak he had ever eaten, so I tried it. He was absolutely correct. I'm still...thinking about it and am planning our next visit. The salad and baked potato that came with my meal were also incredibly delicious. My husband got the jumbolya pasta dish and said it was amazing as well. You definitely need to try out this restaurant. I suggest getting reservations, especially on a Friday night. We didn't have any, but happened to come at the right time and only waited 10 minutes. We overheard the hostess telling people that came in after us it was an hour wait. It's definitely wort6the wait though.More
