Steak was well done. I ordered medium well. It was dry. Mac and cheese was suspect. I wouldn't order it again. Skewer shrimp too salty to eat, sent them back. Grill shrimp similar😳. Then we were rushed bcuz our waitress was getting off work.

I now know what it feels like to be robbed. After a long wait for service we ordered the filet mignon cooked rare. It arrived well done and dry. Far below expectations. Never again! The restaurant was also dirty and noisy.

Hubby and I dined at this restaurant after a long day of driving and the food was fairly good and decently priced. The steak that my husband got was cooked as requested and he said it was very good. I got the chicken sandwich and...it was also good. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. Restaurant itself could use a makeover though. Booth seats were ripped, floors looked very old and walls where tables were pushed against it were chipped. Typically that doesn't bother me but it just made me feel like the restaurant wasn't really kept very clean. Overall, I would dine here again. Service was really great and even though there was a short wait, it wasn't bad.More

Walked over from Best Western Motel. Went because it was close and a known brand. It was better than expected. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bartender Virginia was great. My New York Strip was cooked as requested and quite good. My wife declared her filet "excelent" and..."perfectly cooked" medium rare. Good selection of cold craft beer and/or local beers all served cold. Got to talking to two guys who were, like me, veterans. Had a great evening when we just went for dinner while traveling. A couple of reviews mention some areas not being as clean as expected....massive cleaning job has been done or reviewers had bad eyes. :) The place was clean, friendly and GOOD.More

We stopped here for lunch as we came down the interstate. When we walked in the place wasn't crowded at all. It took quite a bit for the waitress to come see us and get a drink order, but I didn't think too much of...it. Until it took 50 minutes to get our meal. The food was prepared properly and eveything was as requested, except my husband requested a side of bbq sauce and the waitress had to go back for that. At the end of the meal I asked for a box. I could see the stack of boxes from where I was sitting, and watched the waitress walk by it multiple times before coming back to us. We didn't plan on spending $50 and nearly two hours here for a lunch pit stop. We won't make that mistake again.More

When we entered the restaurant we almost turned around and left because the host(ess) area was dirty. The bar is to the right and that looked clean so after a 10 hour day on the road we decided to sit at a high top in...there. It was mostly clean, however with only one couple and one single sitting at the bar even that had an area with food on the bar and floor, along with papers which stayed there during our entire meal. The bartender/server was pleasant enough, however it was clear the couple at the end of the bar were friends of hers so we spent a fair amount of time looking at her back while she chatted with them. Consequently, the app of onion blossoms came out barely warm instead of hot. All that being said, the beer was good although pricey, the onion blossoms and the grilled chicken salads were fine which is why it got 2 stars instead of 1. I would recommend you stop at Mrs. Rowe's instead of here if you're a traveler.More

We visited this restaurant a couple of years ago while staying at the hotel next door. It is quite convenient in that we just walked up the hill from the hotel. And we found it to be good at that time. We returned to the...same hotel. I read the terrible reviews and thought we might choose to go somewhere else. But, we decided to give it another try. And it was a good. The hostess was very welcoming. We were seated right away. Our waitress was prompt in asking what we would like to drink and took our orders for dinner. There was a great selection as far as the types of entrees to choose from. We both decided to have something simple. I had the burger and fries. My husband had the short rib sandwich and fries. We also elected to share a Caesar salad. All of the food was very good and the servings were generous. Our waitress was efficient and aimed to please. The atmosphere was appropriate to a steakhouse type restaurant. The price was reasonable considering what we were served. So, all in all, we would definitely return to this place again. It was a very good choice for a casual dinner.More

Nothing was good. My husbands steak was wd when he asked for mr. The steak was tough. My husbands mac and cheese was old amd his rice pilaf was dry. My chopped steak was raw when I asked for wd. I think they call it...the brazo steak or something ...it stated it is "new" on the menu. My frech fries were soggy. My sweet potato was tasteless. They even managed to mess up a chocolate chip cookie which tasted generic!More

Had to wait forever for my server, Anthony. Had to ask for bread and butter which finally arrived just before my meal. Ordered a whiskey sour - bad mistake, they only have one mixer which appears to be for overly sweet and watered down margaritas....I doubt there was ANY whiskey in my drink. My cocktail arrived WITH my meal and the beer I ordered sort of showed up for dessert. Asked for what was on tap, was given a hand written list of local beers so I had no idea what was what. Seems as though Anthony didn't know much about the beers, also. Ordered a medium rare 16 oz rib eye. Lots of fat and was raw in the center. The steamed broccoli and baked potato were the highlights of dinner. As I said, cocktail showed up just prior to dinner and I had to ask three different servers for my beer which showed up after dinner. Don't go here, go to Cracker Barrel next door unless you head into town.More
