The food is pretty good. A negative is that they serve the dishes popular with Americans to the detriment of those who prefer the more exotic Chinese dishes. Also, I ordered takeout and specified that I'd like two pairs of chopsticks but none were supplied!

The owners are such nice people. Convenient in a shopping center this restaurant has menu ordered meals as take away or dine inside. The food is so good. Owners come around to see how you like the food and service.

We went on Father’s Day for a nice Asian meal. The staff are quite nice and seated us quickly. After reviewing the menu, we decided on Garlic Eggplant, Cashew Chicken and Chicken Broccoli. The wait for food was a little longer and the staff came...by to apologize. They explained they had lots of take out meals and that the kitchen was backed up. It was no problem as we sat and chatted the time away. The meals all came and smelled wonderful. The chicken in both dishes was tender. The Cashew Chicken was with a plum sauce. It was different yet good. The eggplant was especially good with a nice savory spicy sweet sauce with it. We had leftovers. W enjoyed their special dessert for those who dine in. Residents of Springfield, VA needing a place to celebrate a birthday or another milestone might want to check out the Asian Grill. We were guests of a birthday celebration at this Grill and came away quite impressed. True, the kitchen was a little slow in...getting dishes prepared but the friendly wait staff was swift in getting the goodies to the diners. We were impressed that the servers were very attentive as they kept checking the teapots and asking if we needed anything. Impressed also with Mr. Ho, the manager, who personally joined in serving food and chatting with us diners. The tasty crab cake appetizer got us (about 70 diners) off to a very good start. The meat eaters among us oohed and aahed over the signature Lamb Chop, which came next; we vegetarians were served egg rolls and Szechuan beans, instead. The Imperial Shrimp was much tastier than the Fish dish and the pea shoots 豆苗 dish. And the Hong Kong Pork dish received rave reviews by our neighbors. So did the Longevity Bun 寿桃 with black bean paste, which brought the dinner to a nice close. Mr. Ho then announced the eatery’s eagerness to work with potential customers in creating the menu, which can include dishes not on the menu. While the food may be a little pricey, one can expect good service and a pleasant welcoming environment.More

A friend and I have been meeting here for periodic lunch for several years and LOVE it. Owner ALWAYS greets us personally and makes us feel very welcome. Food (especially the Vietnamese Garden Rolls) is AMAZING. We’ve never been disappointed and recommend it VERY highly.

Almost all of the Chinese restaurants in Burke have closed. We tried this for the first time after reading reviews. “Impressed” by the number of Asian patrons. Unfortunately, that's not a sign!?!?! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT if you value your health! I ordered a simple pork fried rice takeout and specified "no added MSG". The meal was fully laced with the stuff and I suffered an excruciating headache and racing heartbeat for the rest of my evening. I...know full well what an MSG reaction feels like. Even worse, when I went back the next day to demand a refund, the owner, Mr. Ho, declared that he didn't care how sick I got after eating his food, that I can't prove anything, boasted about how many orders he receives each day, and then LAUGHED at me. The more I insisted that his food made me extremely sick, the more he laughed. All of the bad reviews about Mr. Ho's customer service that you may read are true. The proper response would have been to apologize, refund the lousy $14, and maybe, just maybe I might have returned. You do NOT laugh at an upset customer in front of other customers! You could not pay me enough to eat at Asian Grill now. Take this review for what you will, but should you choose to eat at Asian Grill anyway, then don't be surprised at how you're treated or expect any sympathy after you've been poisoned.More

My family goes here pretty often for dinner. The food is so delicious. We've tried a wide variety of things on the menu, and it has all been outstanding. We don't even bother eating Chinese food from other restaurants anymore because it just doesn't compare....They have a nice sit down area also, and the staff is really friendly.
