One of my favorite restaurants now. I have been going here since before the pandemic/COVID and am glad that they are back to inside seating again. I like their gf food options and the food is tasty and affordable. The staff is great and helpful when I need anything or if something can be made gf if it isn't stated on the menu. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well as regular. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes Oriental food as theirs isn't just Chinese, Japanese, etc.

With the CoronaVirus19 issues, so nice to be able to all ahead and order a takeaway meal from this friendly staff at this location. Darin and Jenny are so pleasant and attentive.
I called and the order was available within 20 minutes. They have a large enough restaurant so safe distancing was easy to maintain. The food is good and plenty to eat.
Visit there and enjoy your meal.

Have been a long time customer. The staff here is fantastic and really look out for their customers. Food is delicious and service is wonderful. It’s not the closest restaurant to me, but it is worth the drive as the portions are large (two meals worth!) and absolutely delicious.

The food is pretty good. A negative is that they serve the dishes popular with Americans to the detriment of those who prefer the more exotic Chinese dishes. Also, I ordered takeout and specified that I'd like two pairs of chopsticks but none were supplied!

Servings are generous and tasty. Don’t know what you want? Ask owner, Darren, and he’ll make something for you and guarantee you’ll like it. The owner Ho’s seem to know every guest by name. It’s like a homecoming every visit. There’s a reason they’ve been in business so long.

I LOVE my local Asian restaurant and it's great to see the staff and they're friendly and accommodating to my gluten-free allergies and it's not super expensive and the food is REALLY delicious!!! We go there about once a month or so.

Most recently Darrin Ho organized yet another outstanding banquet for our family, just as surprising and delightful as our first, when hosting a delegation from China in 1997. Two many positives to list. And Darrin is very careful about allergies. Always innovating. Must have his lamb, crispy beef, lettuce wrap, egg drop soup (exquisite mix of subtle flavors!); these are only a small sample of what Asian Grill has to offer. As one who has traveled to China over 20 times, I can attest to the authenticity of this wonderful restaurant and the hospitality of the owners and staff.

The owners are such nice people. Convenient in a shopping center this restaurant has menu ordered meals as take away or dine inside. The food is so good. Owners come around to see how you like the food and service.

We went on Father’s Day for a nice Asian meal. The staff are quite nice and seated us quickly. After reviewing the menu, we decided on Garlic Eggplant, Cashew Chicken and Chicken Broccoli. The wait for food was a little longer and the staff came by to apologize. They explained they had lots of take out meals and that the kitchen was backed up. It was no problem as we sat and chatted the time away. The meals all came and smelled wonderful. The chicken in both dishes was tender. The Cashew Chicken was with a plum sauce. It was different yet good. The eggplant was especially good with a nice savory spicy sweet sauce with it. We had leftovers. W enjoyed their special dessert for those who dine in. It is a fried wonton with apples sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. A nice finish to a good dinner.

Residents of Springfield, VA needing a place to celebrate a birthday or another milestone might want to check out the Asian Grill. We were guests of a birthday celebration at this Grill and came away quite impressed. True, the kitchen was a little slow in getting dishes prepared but the friendly wait staff was swift in getting the goodies to the diners. We were impressed that the servers were very attentive as they kept checking the teapots and asking if we needed anything. Impressed also with Mr. Ho, the manager, who personally joined in serving food and chatting with us diners. The tasty crab cake appetizer got us (about 70 diners) off to a very good start. The meat eaters among us oohed and aahed over the signature Lamb Chop, which came next; we vegetarians were served egg rolls and Szechuan beans, instead. The Imperial Shrimp was much tastier than the Fish dish and the pea shoots 豆苗 dish. And the Hong Kong Pork dish received rave reviews by our neighbors. So did the Longevity Bun 寿桃 with black bean paste, which brought the dinner to a nice close. Mr. Ho then announced the eatery’s eagerness to work with potential customers in creating the menu, which can include dishes not on the menu. While the food may be a little pricey, one can expect good service and a pleasant welcoming environment.

A friend and I have been meeting here for periodic lunch for several years and LOVE it. Owner ALWAYS greets us personally and makes us feel very welcome. Food (especially the Vietnamese Garden Rolls) is AMAZING. We’ve never been disappointed and recommend it VERY highly.

Almost all of the Chinese restaurants in Burke have closed. We tried this for the first time after reading reviews. “Impressed” by the number of Asian patrons. Unfortunately, that's not a sign!?!?! Disappointed when our food arrived; not very favorful. Convenient for nearby, but we’ll keep looking.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT if you value your health! I ordered a simple pork fried rice takeout and specified "no added MSG". The meal was fully laced with the stuff and I suffered an excruciating headache and racing heartbeat for the rest of my evening. I know full well what an MSG reaction feels like. Even worse, when I went back the next day to demand a refund, the owner, Mr. Ho, declared that he didn't care how sick I got after eating his food, that I can't prove anything, boasted about how many orders he receives each day, and then LAUGHED at me. The more I insisted that his food made me extremely sick, the more he laughed. All of the bad reviews about Mr. Ho's customer service that you may read are true. The proper response would have been to apologize, refund the lousy $14, and maybe, just maybe I might have returned. You do NOT laugh at an upset customer in front of other customers! You could not pay me enough to eat at Asian Grill now. Take this review for what you will, but should you choose to eat at Asian Grill anyway, then don't be surprised at how you're treated or expect any sympathy after you've been poisoned.

Still remains on the top of all Springfield restaurants for service and Good quality Even for those not a fan of Chinese food aDianet can find something to like there is moneyed to be reticent about how you want your dish prepared as it is cook Erin the spot no microwave leftovers here great family restaurant all are made to feel special

My family goes here pretty often for dinner. The food is so delicious. We've tried a wide variety of things on the menu, and it has all been outstanding. We don't even bother eating Chinese food from other restaurants anymore because it just doesn't compare. They have a nice sit down area also, and the staff is really friendly. We always sit in the restaurant to eat and have a lovely time.
