Traveling to Richmond, VA down Rt. 522 we planned to stop at the Thornton River Grille for lunch. We stopped only to find the restaurant closed for renovation. In the same building is a deli and the RPK. I had read some earlier reviews of...More

Good local joint. Pizzas wood fired. Staff friendly. Service fast. I go here often on route to my cabin. I recommend.

The old Rudy's Pizza had a sign out that said it was the best pizza in Sperryville, which was funny and sad because it was the only pizza in Sperryville and not very good. Now, however, RPK really is delicious. And I mean, possibly the...More

Old fashioned brick oven, perfect dough and great ingredients make this pizza truly exceptional. Friendly staff too. I drive 25 miles once a week to eat there. Skip the main restaurant which is very ordinary and go for the pizza!

The pizza is woodfired and one of the best we have had. Perfectly crisp crust, and nice selection and quality of toppings. The seating was limited in the pizza area so they served us at Frances' bar. Very accommodating.

It’s not often one finds really good pizza outside the ‘northeast’! But we are fortunate in that here in Sperryville one exists! Very cozy and unassuming the pizza is worth the trip and I’m very happy to have found it!

I don't know how the food is because each time we tried (twice) they had run out of pizza. Call ahead first.

We were 7 on a really busy Saturday night. We ordered at the counter. Seating options were either the few tables in front of the counter/open kitchen, upstairs on the patio, or in back on the picnic tables. Inside was way too hot, upstairs was...More

While visiting area wineries, we stopped in on a beautiful, hot Saturday and sat at their upstairs deck, outside. Service was decent (took a little while for someone to initially greet us at our table after we were seated), after greeted, service was consistent and...More
