I had a great cup of decaf and a veggie wrap. This is a cute place in a cute little town. I had stopped to kayak on the James River but stayed to walk around the historic downtown.

I have been coming here for years . They make a special ice frappe for my wife. She loves it. Normally it is the best. quaint, quiet, courteous, and fast, extremely fast. I have even called my order in ahead of time and had it waiting on me when I got there, with a smile. I want to mention, on... More

A great little place to grab a snack and something good to drink. I recommend the lavender lemonade and the pecan sticky bun! Fun art, good books, great vinyl records and super friendly staff.

This place is the best. Friendly staff, great coffee and tea, and goodies. Also what I absolutely LOVE is that it is such a comfortable spot to catch up on work and emails. Lots of places to plug in your laptop! This is my go-to spot to come and finish up computer work, and I will always leave the C-Ville... More

Lovely quaint bookstore and coffee shop. Server was extremely friendly. The decaf coffee that I ordered was full flavored, my son had the espresso, he said it was amazing. I also had a pecan cinnamon that was heated upon request. Would definitely recommend. Wi-Fi was available too.

We visited here a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a small shop, but great for Scottsville. Saw a lot of locals. Don't expect Starbucks, but do expect great service, great coffee, with a few choices of eatings. When all the machines are working they have iced drinks, espresso, and variety of coffees and teas. Take your... More

Absolutely love stopping by Baine's - we are regulars. In addition to sipping on expertly-brewed coffees (and teas) with or without a great selection of add-ins...it's the perfect spot to grab breakfast, lunch, or bakery treats. The quiche is out of this world! And, the paninis! And, the gluten-free muffins! Throw in cafe seating (indoors and out)...surrounded by shelves of... More

In a town of 550 people, I can get homemade almond milk in my cappuccino. Brian and Kristen are excellent baristas and have fascinating taste in the books they stock. This place is a warm environment for neighborly conversation and for getting work done. As both a small town resident and a freelance small business owner, I'm grateful to have... More
