Fantastic food and beer. Didn't expect much from a small place in a small town. I had the Octoberfest and meatloaf, green beans, Mac n cheese, and soft pretzels. All of it was fantastic! We drove about an hour to get there and it was...definitely worth the trip. Planning our next trip there already.More

The menu provides everything from salads to wings to "comfort food". We ate there two nights and enjoyed everything we had. My favorites were the hamburger steak meal (I swear the mashed potatoes were homemade!) and the macaroni and cheese. Good selection of local beers,...ciders and wines. The service was friendly and quick. The staff, including the manager who came over to talk to us, made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant was clean with everyone wearing masks and staying "social distanced". Highly recommend!More

A great spot with a large and varied menu. there aren’t many dining options in town, but this one was delicious that we came each night of our stay. Friendly staff. Great little place. Great service and great food. We loved it. The meatloaf and hamburger steak was super delicious. Everything seasoned deliciously. The place is super cute with its own brewery. Downstairs is the pool table.

Enjoyed the wings and beer and meatloaf sliders. Ate outside one night. It was open more than some other places. Quick and friendly service.

We stopped by Sugar Hill for dinner and drinks during our stay in Saint Paul. We really enjoyed our dinner there. Great food and our waitress was friendly and efficient. It was a bit disappointing that over half their beer options were sold out at...the time of our visit, but that could have been from complications of COVID. We managed to each find an option that we enjoyed.More

Our motorcycle group stayed in town over the Labor Day weekend. We ate dinner outside Sunday evening. The place was packed any the staff was running hard to keep up. Great meal and good beer! Service was outstanding!

One of the few restaurants in St. Paul, Sugar Hill has some very good beers and a good selection of tasty food, including the only place to get a vegan meal in town. Friendly staff and good service make for a nice lunch or dinner...after exploring the Clinch River or the surrounding countryside.More

We sat outside for a drink and then ordered food to go to eat on the patio at our hotel. Food was very good and service was great

St. Paul is a very small, quaint town that really needed a fun place to meet and dine. Sugar Hill is perfect for families and groups to meet and eat and sample some local beer. They are very generous with the beer samples so you...can pick your perfect one. Food is good and the pimento cheese balls are creamy and delicious. Not a place for a light meal but for heavy food, beer, and fun it makes for a fun time.More
