Easy access when traveling by Roanoke. Not busy as we stopped around 3. Seated immediately, given drinks, but took a while to order. Food came out very quickly. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, honestly it looked so dry, but I was delicious. Probably one...of the best chicken salads I’ve had. Also ordered was the ghost pepper chicken, it was fresh and great flavor. We also had a brownie and coconut cake, moist and good.More

The salmon and cranberries with sweet potato hash was absolutely wonderful. The salmon was perfectly cooked! My husband had pulled pork on a homemade bun. He says it is the best he has ever had! Very clean inside. Staff awesome!

The food was incredible. My wife and I were travelling, from New York, to Florida. We will visit again, except there was one waitress who never wore her mask. Everyone else had his, or her mask on, except for the girl that waited on us....It was unfortunate. Except for that instance, we would completely recommend this establishment.More

As we entered Hollywood’s Restaurant for the very 1st time, we were greeted with smiling eyes (ya know, cuz of the mask). We were seated quickly & our drink order was taken and delivered. Our server was Deborah. She was very friendly & helpful. I...had the ribeye dinner and my husband had the oyster dinner. They were delicious! Robin was a great help as well. Kudos to the cook & entire staff!!! We will definitely be back 😄More

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. I ordered fried green tomatoes that were over grits and a rib eye steak. Both items were delicious and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go here the next time that I...am in Roanoke.More

When I go to any city that I've never been before, I like to explore and take photos of everything, but I was only here for Hollins Communications Research Institute, a place that specializes in helping people to stop stuttering. On lunch break one afternoon,...my family and I were hunting for local restaurants to eat at and we came across Hollywood's Restaurant & Bakery. Just before I got to the second set of doors, I noticed a sticky note that said to ask for a pin to stick to one or both of the maps. I love maps and so as soon as I ordered my water, I got up to go look at the maps in the hallways and I stood there for around five minutes. It was cool seeing where people have come to this place from since April 23, 2012, which is when the United States map was started. The owner was very friendly to me and my family because he saw me looking at the maps and he thanked us for stopping by his restaurant. After getting my bacon cheeseburger and fries, I sat down and started eating. The burger was delicious and the fries were good as well. Our waitress was also very friendly and we received our food quick. I would definitely come back to this fantastic restaurant!More

I wouldn't know about Thanksgiving day. Here is their number to call. 540-362-1812. If they are not open, do make an effort to come back and enjoy the food and people. Don't forget dessert! Mary W.

$9-$20 for a main meal covers it. It isn't too expensive. And yes it is frequently full, so it is best to book ahead, especially Friday nights and the weekends. Even during the week, it was very full when I've been there.
