Get to know the regular menu items on the lunch buffet, and pick your day(s). Every day, the southern vegetables and fried chicken are out of this world. Salad bar, homemade soups, and homemade dessert as well. In addition, Monday is steak day, and they have full-size steaks on the buffet. Wednesday or Thursday is usually some combination of barbeque... More

Daughter took us here. Really cool place, been there since the 1930s. Beer and drinks were well priced. Lots of locals go here. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Karaoke 4 times a week. Had a blast and went 2 times.

I've not been to The Coffee Pot in over 12 years and, frankly, I wasn't sure I wanted to return. But it was a pleasant surprise. The place has long been known for its noon buffet, so six of us set out. The food is country, but very good. $7.99 for the buffet. I had fried chicken (perfect), a pork... More

I usually go here on Thursday night after work for 50 cent wings. This place is a true sticky floor honky-tonk cheap drinks and a fair to midland menu. The wings are actually great. Go for the bands and boring beer not so much the food.T

Lived in Roanoke all my life and thought I would try the lunch buffet yesterday. Items on the buffet included: corn (from a can), green beans (from a can), mushy baked spaghetti, some type of chewy beef/steak, fried chicken (not bad), red potatoes (no seasoning, undercooked), a salad bar with iceberg lettuce (didnt eat), potato salad. If the health department... More

A very good buffet for an inexpensive price. The barbeque was very good. A local favorite for many years. However, unless you're there for the music, I would recommend going early.
