This place is pretty average but the service is a little slow if you eat in. The food is okay, but sometimes overly salty and sometimes the staff seem unhappy with their job. However, its very cheap so I will continue to go.

The Original Submarine, need I say more? My grandparents lived a few streets over and this is one of only 4 places my grandpa would it. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't my first solid food as a baby. I still love going back, so many great memories and I still get the Original Sub! It has changed through... More

The New Yorker Deli has been serving great food consistently for as long as I remember. As long as you don't mind paying cash you'll always leave well fed and happy. I've eaten here numerous times for over 20 years and have yet to get a bad meal or unacceptable service. Everyone has their opinion, but this is a can't... More

I've never had a better sub. The size is massive and I only paid like $7! My husband, dad and I left completely stuffed and still had 1/2 our sandwiches to take home. Do yourself a favor & try the cheesecake. They have the sub game on lock.

Living out of town there is no need to frequent this restaurant. New York Deli has had a long reputation for having a great sub. I got the Italian and was not disappointed. The place looks the same. The waitress was fun. They also do a much better job of keeping the outside looking good in comparison with the neighborhood.... More

Ordered Italian Sub. Excellent quality, fresh sub bun, plenty of meat, great tasting. Huge sandwich. Only $6.35. Also ordered a bowl of veggie soup which was homemade. Old throwback place. Sign is classic on street, inside its a throwback to sixties or early seventies. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely come back.

overall a wonderful experience. We have been there several times. The food is usually great and the service excellent. Many deli items are for sale to take home including rare items like pickled green tomatoes The corned beef is a little chewy but that's my only complaint.

We got the Turkey sub and slaw, served hot. Slaw is top notch. Also the salads are good too. Reasonably priced. Cheap prices. Cash only.

I have been eating here since the early 90s. The food just keeps getting better. Reasonable price. Good service.
