Horrible, ordered takeout and got home to find my chicken and ribs had no ribs. Called to inform them and kept getting placed on hold. Evidently the manager had to verify my missing food was still there, which it was. Thankfully they did not give...it to someone else and not be able to prove it was not included. Meanwhile my dinner was cold after arguing for a half hour over what was basically turned into my fault somehow. Tony, the manager wanted me to drive back and get the missing item, I informed him I was not coming back since I just had surgery. He said I could have a credit for a future order. What??? Then when I said just refund my money he said a partial refund only would be made for just the missing ribs and I had to come in to have that done. Mind you I placed an online order with a credit card. I had surgery today and had to ask someone to drive me back down there after being hung up on numerous times by Tony. So I took my cold dinner back with me seeing it was inedible and my stress level was through the roof at this point. Then Tony lied to my face and said he did not tell me I had to come back. Even in person he continued to talk over me and not let me speak. This man should not be managing anything at all. The whole place was a hot mess with people standing around inside and out waiting for orders. I try to support local businesses, but I will not ever be going back. I work hard for my money and feel the disrespect over a simple mistake was compounded by a poor manager that was more concerned with him than any customer.More

I have to say with this Virus( COVID-19 ; Coronavirus) A restaurant that can not manage a decent takeout service is saying something.. What should have been a simple takeaway order turned into a very bad experience. My food wasn’t properly cooked and also poorly...packaged it felt like no one had a standard ..,Right down to the front of house which left much to be desired even with management present seemly lost in translation. I gave up trying to get my order done correctly and lost my Appetite...The entire thing was a waste of time and money.More

We were in town for a visit and found this place on trip advisor. It was a nice dining family style atmosphere. Definitely felt like a hometown place and the service was friendly and quick. There is a buffet or you can order off a...menu and add the buffet, which includes salad, baked potato toppings and a dessert bar as well. I would recommend someone giving it a try for a new experience at steak house dining.More

Hubby likes this resturant because of the salad bar - it has a great selection of food and all of it is freshly prepared. I like ordering from the menu because i don't have a big appetite. I like the sirloin tips with onions and...peppers. The tips are cooked to order and are tasty. Love the huge baked potatoes. Service is always prompt and they are good at keeping our glasses filled.More

The good...mixed drinks tasted good. Sweet ice tea was just right, and the croutons were some of the best ever. The server was friendly and attentive The bad was the rib eye steak. No seasoning at all and no grill marks. This thing looked and...tasted like it was microwaved or steamed. There is no way I would believe it was grilled. My daughter had 611 chicken. It was tough. Overall a truck stop grilled weiner would have been a better meal.More

Great place in Roanoke for great food at a very reasonable price. Always great service and one of the very best salad bars around. It's a no brainer for Roanoke.Excellent for families. I always have a great experience there.

My friends and I love to come here for lunch. We all order the same thing, almost, that is, the hamburger steak with a side and the salad bar. We can order the meat as we like it, medium rare for me, and there are...a variety of sides, mine was onion rings but my companions got the baked sweet potato and french fries respectively. With this comes the fabulous salad bar, all for about $8.50 - hard to beat!More

Lots of southern fried food, if there were non fried options we didn’t find them. We opted for the salad and soup buffet with a baked sweet potato. The baked sweet potatoes were great plenty of condiments, but it was really sweetie didn’t get to...them. The soup was bacon lettuce and tomato was a new one for us, a little salty, and the food part of the bar was also mostly fried, or just greasy, and the salad part was lots of Mac salads, not too green, and mediocre at best.More
