Had a reservation for 6:45. Was seated on time in the area we wanted with views of the tv for the football games. Our server was terrible! We ordered drinks and a bottle of wine. He wasn’t even sure they could make a simple orange...crush. He came back to the table 30 minutes later to tell us that the bottle of wine we wanted was not available. Got the rest of the drinks but never got my son’s sweet tea. Finally 45 minutes later we were ordering dinner. (My son still didn’t have his tea.) Food was ok. My spaghetti and meatballs was not good. Meatballs had no flavor and the plate was all noodles! I could make a better dish at home. Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a while.More

We ate elsewhere, then wandered the area looking for a place to grab and after-dinner drink. We settled into outdoor seating with lovely views of the area. The waitress was helpful in suggesting something to my wife (who was interested in experimenting with something new)....We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, but our experience was very positive.More

We stopped by for drinks. There is a speakeasy in the back through the telephone door. They do fantastic cocktails back there. It was a little loud, but the ambiance was appropriate for a speakeasy. It was a Saturday night, and they also had a...party in the square out front. DJ was good, and the crowd energetic. The outdoor bar was limited, but one could go to main bar inside if you wanted something specific.More

Great food and friendly service, and some great outdoor seating right on the public square. The food isn’t fancy, but is delicious and portions are generous. Kids menu too.

Once we were seated outside everything was good. But the hostess was not friendly. My husband had to go inside to the hostess stand for us to be seated. The hostess ignored him and when she finally showed us to a table, she just sat...the menus and silverware down on a table with wet spots and walked off. My husband is so easy going and hardly anything ever gets to him, but he was really put off by her behavior and noticed it repeated throughout our meal. The server was another story entirely. Meagan was terrific! She was so accommodating and helpful. Kudos to her! And…the food was yummy. I had a chicken sandwich (Hokie Bird) with slaw and the house hot sauce on it and loved it. My husband had a margherita flatbread and said it was good, not terrific. We got to enjoy a birthday at the table next to us-a couple was treating their dog for his birthday. He got his own chicken nuggets and a big bowl of water.More

Fun ambiance, with sports on TV at the bar. I stopped in for a takeout flatbread (the truffle mushroom one was excellent) and hung out at the bar while I waited. Staff was friendly and service was really fast. There's also a lovely outdoor patio...right on the central square in Roanoke (near the daily farmer's market).More

We had a Philly Chees Steak and Pulled Pork. Both were average, and the fries tasted frozen. Service was satisfactory and the prices were reasonable.

While the Calamari was okay, the highlight of my dining experience here was the flatbread pizza. I ordered something simple- Pepperoni, Mushrooms, and Parmesan on marinara sauce and mozzarella. Very simple fare, and a safe choice when getting a pizza in a new restaurant. Those...of you who have seen the scene in Ratatouille where Anton Ego samples the titular dish will understand what happened to me. At first, I thought maybe my synapses had misfired and I was getting a false positive. I remember cutting off a strip of the pizza and handing it to my mother, a fellow foodie, telling her "Try this, feel it with your teeth." There is a very difficult balance to achieve with pizza crust, the perfect balance of resistance and chewiness that falls short of the cracker-hard crust some pizzerias prefer. I myself have yet to personally perfect this balance, so you can understand why I was caught off guard when I bit into what had to be the perfect example of pizza crust and doing 'more with less'. The crust itself was sturdy enough that it didn't flop over in my hand when I picked it up, and soft enough to feel 'al dente' when eaten. This was the big selling point for me, but the toppings cinch the deal. Some Pizzerias will overload their pizzas, so eating a fresh slice results in a scalding explosion of sauce and cheese. This is not the case here. 202 doesn't skimp on their toppings, but uses just enough so each flavor is identifiable and there's no spillage.More

There are fifteen screens of sports - great. They boast an extensive list of bottle wines - great. They offer one wine from each category that you may get, if you merely want a glass. Fine. I ordered the red. The bartender went searching. Fifteen...minutes and after the arrival of our food we're told they can't find it. I couldn't believe that the only red they offer in a glass was utterly MIA. Ordered a bourbon which was good and showed up quickly. We ordered the calamari, which was unfortunate, as it was overly salted and overcooked. We've never had audibly crunchy rings of calamari ever. We cut bait and ordered a dessert and another bourbon which was good.More

Loved the outdoor seating area. Tomato bisque was delicious. Service could hav been a tad better but great for grabbing a quick bite or watching a football game. Food came very quickly.

I suggest you call 1-540-266-7466. We were there in July. If you have a special dietary restriction, they will accommodate you (I'm vegan - so I asked them to make the dish w/o any meat).
