Service: weird! They charged us for water, and they did not tell us beforehand. The food itself was not bad, but it has a snobbish vibe.

We had a very productive meeting. The service was attentive and pleasant. The fish was fantastic. Very easy to get to and find parking.

This restaurant is a mainstay of fine dining in Reston Town Center. The bar is well designed and sized to encourage after work Happy Hours. Some Happy hour food and bar food is available and the menu satisfies its purpose. Dinner can be a bit of a letdown. Reservations are often needed. When the restaurant is full, as it was... More

We celebrated for my birthday. Most of our party tried the tasting menu along with the recommended flight of wine. Everyone had s great meal. Service was excellent.

Visited with family and friends. The server accommodated people in our party who arrived at different times, and was courteous and professional. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees were excellent - overall a positive experience.

We ate her twice in the paste month and found the food to be subpar for the price. To be fair I am not a huge italian fan anyway but the dishes lacked pizazz - if I am going to eat italian I better be wowed and it should taste out of this world. My daughter had their pizza and... More

We had an incredible meal here last night. We all started with drinks, which were fantastic and served quickly. Three of us had their regional tasting menu and every thing we had was as good as I've had in Italy. Highly recommend the restaurant.

This place hits a lot of highs; it is a solid 4.5 for Reston. Really nice WL; nice range with some great high cost and low cost choices. Romantic ambiance, high service, friendly aspect, family treatment of its employees. Menu is diverse. Nice presentation. I always stay for dessert because they earn me spending extra time and money.

4 dinners, all excellent. Service was superb. You prefer outdoor patio? Prepare for street noise and some secondhand smoke from park across the street. We could deal with it and our companions were ok. We had ravioli, (one veggie with butternut squash filling, and one with the sausage puree), a slightly sturdier chicken cannelloni, and a grill chicken with shell... More

In the tradition of Italy's trattorias, the sight, sounds and aromas of authentic Italian cuisine are recreated fresh everyday at Il Fornaio. Literally "the baker" in Italian, Il Fornaio offers wood-fired rotisserie and grilled meats, poultry and game; housemade and imported pastas; pizzas from a wood burning oven; fresh salads and housemade soups; antipasti and a wide variety of desserts made daily from scratch. The first two weeks of each month a special menu from a different region of Italy is featured as part of Festa Regionale.
