A perfect evening. We ordered salads and cheese fondue. Service was exceptional. Prices are high, but I don't mind paying premium prices for premium food and service.

we went for my wife's birthday. i don't think she had been out to eat in 5 months because of covid. it was a very nice meal, intimate setting and we enjoyed it. it is not quick and costs a bit more thsn chiles and...the like and you cook your own food, but it was worth it for us.More

Good food, good service but NOT for more than two couples. Lorenzo, our waiter was great but the seating was hazardous and very uncomfortable. We were four couples and were seated in a booth that was clearly for four or maybe a maximum of six...people. The table had TWO burners only. The seating was very tight. Table was too crowded with food, cups, plates, silverware, etc. It was hard for people to reach the burners to cook/get the food which caused it to be not only inconvenient but hazardous. This caused the two people seated at the end of the table to have to stand most of the evening to mind the mini grill, fish for food from the boiling broth and handing/serving the food to everyone to avoid anyone getting burned or injured. What was even more disappointing to us was the fact that two large tables on the back that had eight individual seats and several burners were totally empty. Our jammed seating, the shortage of cooking space in a restaurant that is all about cooking at the table, guests standing most of the night to serve food to their friends for safety and convenience, disrupted the gathering, and diminished the fun of the experience.More

The Melting Pot is aptly named since you cook most of the food yourself in a hot pot. The server makes the cheese fondue of your choice in the pot on your table. You dip bread cubes or vegetables into the hot cheese. Then you...can order uncooked, meat, poultry, seafood or vegetables. You choose the cooking spices which the server mixes and puts in the pot. Then you dip the food using a fondue fork and cook to your taste. The meal ends with melted chocolate in the pot and you dip an assortment of goodies into that. It’s all splendid food and a little fun besides. They have salads. A large selection of beers and wine. They offer wine flights which pare a wine for each course of your meal. A full bar. Corey the server was friendly and helpful which is especially important if fondue is a new experience for you. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Low lighting, soft music, and many high-backed booths for semi private seating that gives you a quiet niche for talking. Pricing is moderate. Parking garage location is not obvious. Pass restaurant on your right, make right at end of block, go straight one block to garage entrance. If you never had a fondue meal The Melting Pot is the best place to start enjoying.More

Who knew that cooking could be fun. We visited for our child's 15th birthday. Our server explained the menu, then the fun began. The food quality was top notch.
