The food here is average mexican food. There is nothing that makes this restaurant stand out from other Mexican restaurants.

Uncle Julios came to prominence during the administration of Bush 43 as it was rumored to be one of his favorite restaurants. The chain has continued to expand and thrive over the decades since. The prices are not the value they once were and the menu choices have narrowed. Over a long period of time they have maintained a good... More

Really kind of fun, particularly if it's an informal kickback affair. Place is very noisy, but reasonably good food and lots of it.

We have been going to uncle julios for years, and I actually think the food has improved. Guam and margueritas fabulous. Noise level is the only issue.

We had been here before when prices were lower and there were many more menu choices. We used to like the food because it was Chihuahua-style. like the food of southern New Mexico today. But that has all changed, with more of a mass market Tex-Mex menu.

Interesting location in heart of a lot of restaurants and stores.. service was fast, food was good, ( beans were more soupy than beans) and chips extra thin with a good sauce.

Go in hungry and you are guaranteed to leave full. We went here for our anniversary a few years ago and had to come back in again. The food is phenomenal and the service is great!!

This was our first visit to Uncle Julio's. We were in the neighborhood and decided to try it for a late lunch -- about 3:00 p.m. There were plenty of wait-staff and other employees to help us and all were pretty attentive. We got the chips and salsa shortly after we sat down. The chips were surprisingly good. Very thin,... More

We would love to go more often to Uncle Julios and have the chocolate piñata but last time we went we felt that the churros inside was not freshly made and the manager didn't even care. We were very surprised!! It is $25 dessert and should be perfectly done. We won't get it again until they make it as good... More

Well...the margaritas were delicious, so that was a plus. However, that's where the good part stops. We ordered chicken fajitas from the kids menu, the plate came out half filled with refried beans, rice - which had absolutely no flavor, and three small strips of chicken. The last time I checked, fajitas came with more than that...I mean, not even... More
