Vinifera is a hidden gem. Nestled in the Westin hotel you can enjoy tapas or seasonally prepared foods with fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits that are grown onsite in the large pots that surround the outdoor patio. I love this place and as a local, I prefer to come here for happy hour or dinner more than any other place... More

Lovely wine selection and I found a few delicious vegan options. The problem is trying to find the place. Your gps will get you to the parking lot and then you have to roam around trying to figure out where it is from there in the middle of two hotels and condo complexes. Once you get there it's worth it.... More

I had the opportunity to try the bar food selection and lunch during my stay. Both times the food was excellent. It is not a large selection they offer, but is the right choices and the quality for the food is fresh. At the bar I had late snack of a small of order of Lamb chops only that hit... More

When you are traveling on business, you generally want quality dishes, reasonable selection, and good service. The Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro delivers. Try the Salmon and if you like brussel sprouts (which is not all that popular), they do a very nice job. When you are staying at the Reston Westin Heights, it is most convenient to have a... More

Really nice place for dinner, wine tasting and some great cocktails. This restaurant is in the Westin in Reston Heights. There's a wine bar and a restaurant section. The menu is brief and changes based on availability but there will always be good options for vegetarian, carnivore, healthy dining, etc. I'm pretty carnivorous but one of the very best meals... I have eaten at Vinifera several times a year for the past 5 years. This was my first time with the new chef. The menu has clearly changed. Being vegetarian, the options are limited, but the staff was helpful in guiding me. The beet salad I had was much smaller than previous, though tasty, abd the pasta entree was larger... More

If you want to get away from the typical Reston Town Center crowds, and yet still have a great selection of food and beverages, this is it. Quietly located in the Reston Westin, they offer an excellent (healthy) menu with more wine and scotch selections than most. Above all, you can relax... and talk with someone without yelling even during... More

Wow was this good. No that doesn't do it justice. It was amazing. You get three Eggs Benedict one with ham, one with salmon and the other with crab cake. It also comes with a side of hash browns. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn't decide which one was better. I think the crab cake edged out but only slightly.... More

The unique and sophisticated bistro is a place to have your senses invigorated by every aspect of your visit - from the mouth-watering food to the unforgettable service and welcoming environment. A variety of pintxos (one bites), small plates and entrees are available in the intimate bar & lounge area, illuminated dining room and outdoor patio, featuring custom hand-made Hawaiian fire pits.
