When I travel I-81and stay in Radford, Macado's is a frequent choice for an easy dinner. The burgers and sandwiches are better than the entrees. But no one would mistake it for an fine dining establishment, which may exist somewhere in Radford but likely not adjacent to the University. I'd say the beers are better than the mixed drinks --... Service is not very good, place is dirty (floor at the deck was so sticky we had to move table). few months ago had boneless chicken wings, they were just like frozen chicken nuggets. last week we had hamburgers, they were disgusting, old, too sweet buns and boiled like patties. never going there again

This place was recommended by a friend. It was easy to get to from the hotel. Our food was really good and the décor there really fun.

I love going to Macados and will go to each one every time i am near one. Their menu is very substantial but has about 50-60 different variations of sandwiches, lots of apps, good deserts, GREAT drinks, and good entrees too. I love the eclectic feel of the restaurant of all the memorabilia inside reminds me of an old school... More

Stopped while traveling for a quick meal. Clean & the food was good & service was fair. Server seemed to want to run from the table each time she did come around. I thought she was playing "tag". :-)

I don't know you need a PHD. in English to get through the menu and then a note pad to write down if you find something you like unless you have a photographic memory to remember it...just SAM-ICHES! Seems just the same over and over with choice of bread and chips! SORRY Been there three time BORING!

Came to Radford for a college visit and this place was recommended. We were not disappointed. The menu is huge, the staff was friendly, and the food was plentiful and great. It's apparently a regional chain. Would come here again.

The atmosphere was fun. We lucked out and had a great waitress. She was super attentive and very knowledgable. This restaurant has a great variety of food choices. We had appetizers of Nachos Grande, Irish Nachos, and Baked Mozzarella Sticks. Our dinner choices were Wings boneless and bone-in, Chicken Parmesan over Pasta with Garlic Bread, and Club sandwich. Enjoyed all... More
